driver must be about 130 kilos...right front doesn't lift ..at all !

@harmageden The suspenison wont let the other wheel lift off. If it did lift there would possibly be damage. It doesnt do that now as there are tramp bars fitted.

@harmageden You would not believe how much the Pod has changed in 30 years Sir!

You should look for a decent show to attend before htis years end. You will be very surprised. Back in those days we used to all queue for a pee in a shed etc..

Its a very nice setup now. I'll be taking a day off work for some quiet test runs on Friday 6th August. But if you want to see real racing you should attend the FIA finals in Sept...

Great video! 3 wheels for the first 15 feet or so must be interesting from behind the wheel! Iv'e seen your car around at the Pod for a while now but don't think I've ever actually seen it run, I'm always in the fire up lane myself.

We run the Jägerbug, bright orange VW Beetle, and were there on the 17th too, I've put together a video of all the launches we did on the day too, go check it out ;-)

Hi!

She still has some stability issues at around 115mph. We seem to be getting too much air under the rear end which is causing lift. This got really bad when I took out the old fuel tank from under the rear deck. At 95mph she started to drift sideways. Tank back in and problem was gone. But only up to the higher speed. The vid has made my year so far. Who cares about a low time now and then when you can show that off eh :)

Cool.. we love air ! Blacketts filming some great shots with that slow mo camera. Nice launch..glad to see you got the slicks working...I had a chat to you at the pod and you said the car was a bit unstable mid track..all sorted ?
