Just an FYI, the vamp from Blade, her name was Mercury, not Raquel and Celesse is Sonja. I can understand naming the Brides from Dracula (like Monica Belluci) who didn't have names but Mercury and Sonja, that's a big no-no! Anyway, awesome! Really looking forward to the final product. Saw two or three lady vamps I didn't know, mostly from the ones that weren't named, and will be checking them out. As for whose on top, my vote goes to Nyssa!

Beautiful video. I like the way it's put together. But Akasha? Queen of the Damned was crap and her acting was one thing that brought it down. That was a waste of a space that could have held Janette DuCharme or Diamondback or Drucilla or Sasha Luna. You did have Santanico, which was great. Most lists ignore her too.

Yes but to do this properly. You have to have an enclyclopaedic knowledge of Vampire films going back at least 60 yrs. This video is a bit of a con as it only goes back 20yrs, but on a more concilatory note, it was professionally put together, so full marks for presentation but overall a bit of a disappointment.

@PROPERTYOFADONAI Umm, I would have to say I did like it, yeah. I think it came out sometime in the early 1990's, if I remember correctly. It wasnt my FAVORITE vamp movie, but still it wasn't bad. I've seen the trailer for the "Fright Night" re-make, and frankly it doesn't look too good. Now, I'll reserve judgement until I see it, of course. But something tells me..as the last 15 years of these "re-makes" has shown, that it's not going to hold a candle to Tom Holland's 1985 original.

Well, that's probably the biggest reason you would lean to what's out there as far as films go "today". And I'm not chastising you for that, believe me. What you see out there today, is pretty much all you are used to. I haven't cared for one single remake. Name them all. Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Nightmare on Elm Street, etc. WAY too many to list here.

There's no "buzz" with these remakes. They come out, then a few weeks go by and they're forgotten. Wasn't like that back in the day, trust me. THAT is what teens today don't understand. Check out 1981's "The Howling", or "American Werewolf in London." THOSE are werewolf transformation scenes. No CGI shit, REAL special effects. Both of those movies STILL fascinate, 30 years later. That is why most remakes don't impress me at all. That and the fact thay they just aren't as good as the real ones. Original ones, I mean.
