  • I skated at the Hub from about 1965 to 1968.

    This recording brings back a rush. I can feel the cool, sweet summer breeze that came in through the back doors (it was still prairie and farmland back there). And the reverb at 1:30 sounds just like being under the chamber and watching skaters. There was a whirlwind that you could feel as they swept past.

    This was a good thing that we let go.
