Also slavery has existed in pretty much every society in the history of the world, so you can't just try to isolate it to a few, i.e. White and Arab.

There was no such thing as Palestinian people prior to the 1960's .. The surrounding Arab states keep the "palestinians" as refugees so they can blame all their problems on Israel... Iran, previously the mid east superpower, has a badly damaged economy purely because israel has used war lobbyists in the US to impose hard sanctions long before they made a threat.
Lebanons economic policy was excellent, its economy is growing faster than almost any other state in mid east
