I agree. I prefer this sort of commercial to what they've got now.
But nowadays Ford needs to get across a lot more in an ad then they did then... everybody just assumed that an American company offers quality and reliability.
People today naturally assume that anything- not just automobiles- built in America is junk, which of course is simply not true.
Styling elegance and built-for-people comfort. No cross-eyed Saabs, no Volvos, no Lexi, no BMWs and not even a Saturn in sight. What a life!
