Certain songs stir up emotions and memories in me, and this one rekindles my dream of visiting California that I've had almost my entire life. It also makes me think of my great aunt Sissy who moved from Omaha, Nebraska to Lemon Grove, California to be closer to her children. I never saw her again after she moved and she has since passed away. I regret not finding the time or the resources to visit her there and find out what her new life in California was like, but this song brings comfort.

I grew up there. Great city. Great quality of life. No racist cops. In fact, a highly thought of police department because of the hight quality of life. In fact, SJ has one of the lowest crime rates in the nation. No, I'm not a cop, I just don't care for careless comments here.
