Hi there - some fragrances do make your soap seize - so it's not where you buy the fragrances from. I know this because I have just started to make Cold Process soap and I read in a book that mixing your base oils at too high a temperature and oils such as cinnamon, clove, myrrh can make your soap seize. I'm sure there will be many more. I used and Oriental Musk and my soap seized but I mixed it quick as I could and got it into the mould and it was OK
