What I hated about Red Faction Guerrilla is that it doesn't have a complete story like Prototype. Like in Red Faction they don't show all the characters and when they die some point in the game you don't even notice they died. I only realized the doctor girl who tortured the colonel in charge of the free fire zone died from the internet after i finished the game.

Yeah you can free roam without them bugging you for sure, but say if your in a car and you just slightly hit theirs... they flip out!

I recommend you get Red Faction.

prototype missions repeat themselves and simply et boring, i have it for 360. if you dont get a boss fight ( hardly ever ) then your in for some fun. but at the same time you can just free roam and do lots of crap. I still would go for red, i played it on ps3, simply amazing blowing up things and breaking bridges. ;)

Prototype repeats itself with missions, so it will get boring after time. Red faction is great game to have fun it... If i'm bored someday... I'll sometimes blow up a bridge, with a convoy on it :P Infamous should be good too, though i never tried it, so i can't respond to Infamous yet. all i can say, is that Red faction has more... Stuff than Prototype :P and it's great online on ps3 too, probs also pc :) and xbox :D btw: I DO NOT SUPPORT PS3 AND XBOX WARS! I HATE THIS WAR! had to write ^^

After you beat the game its not that fun...... multiplayer is good but i was kinda dissapointed tho....... plus after beating the whole entire story i only drove like 4 different veicles... all of the edf veicles that you can drive is bull shit because the only time you see one it is either because you are in a hard core mission and one will come at you charging or on youtube. plus once you find a tank for example,,, it is impossiable to get the driver out so you can drive it . not worth 70$ tho

I played RF1 years ago. I picked up a used copy of Red Faction II for my original Xbox and I am about to give it a little run to see how it is. RF1 was definitely interesting for it's time. One of my favorite game stories to share is I got stuck at a door and could not find a key card or some other key. I had enough of some explosive that I just blew my way around the door after a while of setting off explosives on a ever developing hole in the wall.

my 1 complaint for the demo was that the AI was a lil shit, sometimes it would run into rocks and stuff, although most of the times its pretty good, they find cover well and even move to differnt cover if the cover their behind starts getting destroyed, and i think i got flanked a couple of times too :O

They have sacrificed great graphics in order to improve distruction. That graphics will still be pretty good tho, and PC version has live aswell, so hopefully there will be some PC vs 360. Although that is rare.
