The trumpeter is Mel Davis. Lynn was the last of the "Girl" singers and the only one to sing with both Dorseys, Harry James and Benny Goodman, along with many other greats along the way!
if ne one know how to get in contact with lynn i would love to know .. i know her better as grandma lynn and i havent talked to her in years since she split with frank busseri from the four lads please contact me back if you have ne information
Her voice reminds me of Edie Gorme. Very powerful, very nice. I was not aware she sang with Harry. I only knew she was with the Tommy Dorsey Featuring Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra in the mid 1950's.
Harry, You made me love you was sung by Lynn Roberts. She sang with Harry James in the 50's and 60's. That song was recorded for her ablum of the same name just a few months after the death of Harry James, around the mid 70's.

You're right Jimbo. Lynn cut this version in her album "Harry, You Made me Love You"... which was released right after Harry James death.
