The best weapon to use is the speed burner. It does more damage per it, the timing is a lot simpler, and as long as he's shooting, it always hits.

Mega Man X was first intended to be in fact all about Zero when they thought the change was too much for simpletons who hate on game characters for no reason because they are different exist. well in the first megamanX Zero self destructs himself to save X after being captured by Vile trying to take Vile with the explosion, but only manages to to destroy vile's ride armor and give time for X to free himself, after X defeats sigma some dudes calling themselves the "X-hunters" tell X that they have parts of Zero. if u dont defeat the 3 of them in midstage fights youll have to fight the reconstructed Zero at the final stage just before Sigma.
