There is a procedure to starting the Alison 250 engine. … So you pop down to the local shop to buy a packet of 20, get back on the bike and the turbine temp is now say 300deg. Will the bike run the starter automatically without introducing fuel until a safe temp is reached or does the rider take responsibility for this?

Like all gas-turbines it runs fine on virtually anything that burns, preferably kerosene or diesel, something with a relatively high flame-point.

@Muvisionate1 This engine runs also with diesel, alcohool, E85, gas, and even mixture of hidrocarbures so this even an advantage by having this kind of engine ;)

Nice bike! You'd think that for $185K they could get footage of a REAL Jet Ranger helicopter for their video instead of a UH-1H Huey.

Don't get me wrong here I think the bike Rules! I met Cops years ago when I had a street legal 63 Corvette Stingray with G-70 raised white letters rear tires and small Purelli racing tires on the front. Cops put me through noting but shit. But I still really like this Bike.
