i bought it for my ipod. it has really great graphics and impressive programming. well done game.

however, also very disappointing. this is not the the mistake of Madfinger, but of the times. I was looking for a game like TENCHU, something with style, suspense, gameplay. But Samurai 2 is just another game where you walk around and blindly kill as many opponents as there are.

Better graphics than double dragon, but less style.

Anyone notice this game is like ninja gaiden all the karma crates which were vases in gaiden and gaiden mean revenge in japanese =) mad finger you should ask team ninja to make an exaact remake it would be sexy with all the bosses and awesome weapons. you could use weps out ninja gaiden 2 but still use no.1s story.

after much work and many failures, today I finally beat the Boss on hard. No hardcore gamer myself, I must say this is not the easiest game I played. Chapter six had at least 2 - 3 fights the game seems to just throw waves after waves of fighters at you, archers are probably the most annoying ones. The boss was actually easier than I thought. though if they had more waves of archers or involve archers and the two-sword dudes, things might be different.

The game is solid. I do have something to complain about though. The difficulty level is funny. Normal comes under the title of samurai, and hard comes under Ronin. Are you kidding me? Samurai is way beyond ronin. Ronin is a samurai without a master.

@RaiohTheHunter In Kanji, Ronin just mean 'wandering man'.. They still see themselves as samurai and fellow the warrior way (Unless they want to be ronin forever and become bandit). And normally you don't lose you samurai status when you become ronin.

This is one of the best produced games i've seen yet. I've completed it on easy level, doing it again now on a harder level. I think some of the combos are a bit hard to pull off, like sometimes you dont have enough time hit 1 button 4 times or you end up getting hit ect....

I honestly feel the game is too hard to play at a certain point. Additionally my thumb starts paining because its hard to execute combos with the virtual D-Pad and the fact that the henchmen attack and protect each other. Really disappointed that gameplay frustrates you when you keep getting killed even in beginner level.
