@VladtheEmailer: Late 1980s syndicated and USA Network reruns of these 1960s Mr. Magoo TV episodes had Charlie's dialogue redubbed to eliminate the stereotypical "Chinese" accent.
I've seen those end titles of the Mr. Magoo cartoons hundreds of times and I could never figure out how he ended up as captain of the ship.
In retrospect, it's a little frightening to think about.
