They should stop casting straight actors to play gay parts that involve kissing scene's or more... At least from US and GB tv/movies I have seen, they never seem to pull off the kiss in a way that really feels real. For some reason, this issue doesn't plague French movies, but I guess no one should be shocked at that.

@jameshulsmann If you don't think their kissing's up to scratch it's down to the acting rather than the sexuality of the actors. Their roles aren't real; it's equally as tough to create a believable kiss between a man and a woman as two men when they're just 2 actors who don't really know each other. I have seen many believable and incredible kisses between straight male actors!

@etake04 well it's just that when the two actors were gay the chance that the kissing seems more real is WAY more likely. I have almost never seen two gay actors kiss in a way that didnt seem real, or when at least one of them is gay. When they are both straight, its almost never that it feels real. Based on what you just said, that means gay guys are better actors? Nah! Just that its easer if your gay to get into a gay kiss - a good actor should make it feel realy regardless!

Sure, you get a lot of terrible, awkward, wooden kisses where the actors are obviously straight and freaking out about kissing a guy. But good, professional actors know how to get past that stumbling block. Take Gale Harold in QAF US- straight, but plays a hell of a believable gay man, and you can't honestly say that's all down to the fact that he's mostly kissing a gay actor. But hey, personal opinion :)
