I might be able to say God is the reason for the season, but in actuality I know better. I know the tilt of the Earth causes winter to fall upon the northern hemisphere because the reduced angle in which sunlight hits the Earth. First of all, M-Theory requires "dimensions" therefore it has to wait until the "spatial dimensions" are set by the expansion of the big bang. Furthermore, there are "no experiments" that have been done beyond the forth dimension ( x, y , z and t). All these theories are simply "mathematical" models, and that's as far as they get.
The need of dimensions in the first place, classifies all Multi-dimensional, String Theories as "post-big bang" models. You need "pre-big bang.

Ya but you're not addressing the fact that people ascribe qualities to God that interact or intercede with our common experiential reality, and that IS within the realm of critical analysis and scientific scope as as it is testable and subject to nullification. While science can no more ascertain the existence of something without data, implicit or explicit, a good scientist would not say, "well we do not find evidence for the existence of God, so it does not exist."

Nothingess cannot exist prior to something. The Laws of Motion forbids nothingness, since nothingness is a permanent state of rest. A potential state is the presence of "something" since it must exist within a potential_unmoving state.This can only be described as an "eternal" state, which can exist within the _present, the past_ and the future at the same time.
If relative time did not exist, all things would occur at the same time. Objects move THROUGH unmoveable time, not with it.

Actually it's a word game that scientists like to play. First of all, they claim that the quantum fluctuations creates a zero point energy, while not pointing out that they require three post-big bang states, 1. a two-dimensional waves which fluctuates due to the 2. gravitational force, and 3. expansion force, which causes the postive & negative charged particles (virtual particles).

First of all, M-Theory requires "dimensions" therefore it has to wait until the "spatial dimensions" are set by the expansion of the big bang. Furthermore, there are "no experiments" that have been done beyond the forth dimension ( x, y , z and t). All these theories are simply "mathematical" models, and that's as far as they get.
The need of dimensions in the first place, classifies all Multi-dimensional, String Theories as "post-big bang" models. You need "pre-big bang.

You cannot possess any post-Big Bang conditions before the Big Bang. Dimensional objects are post-Big Bang. So, what do you possess within T1 before the Big Bang? Mathematical models are a dime a dozen. Anybody can create any model that doesn't fit "observations."
All "experiments" only go up to the fourth dimension. Everything else, is simply false speculations. You need the observations to match the math.

The Big Bang is the cause of dimensions, relative time and relative motion. T1 through T2 is relative time, dimensions, expansion, kinetic energy. The one thing you do NOT understand is that T1 exists, therefore, that potential point, is in fact "information." Existence and motion projects information about the physical properties within all fundamental and macro-scaled objects.
Motion creates heat, density, momentum, speed, information, etc. T1 is information absent of T2.

Yes, they may not officially declare it (something arising from nothingness), but that's what it eventually ends up being. So now you will have to explain the "infinite dense" state prior to dimensions via big bang. Now, how does that occur? You cannot have a dense state prior to dimensions, since a dense state requires "dimensions" in order to compress into a dense state.

The Conservation of Energy requires a potential_unmoving state prior to movement (kinetic.). So, energy is ruled out as a possible entity which created anything whatsoever. Energy is two-dimensional, by the way, so, we all know that "dimensions" emergd at the big bang. The big bang created "motion" and all existence projects "motion_& information." You cannot have energy within an "unmoveable_potential" state. Gravity cannot exist without mass, which requires dimensions.

If God exists or influences the universe in any sense at all, His methods are open to scientific scrutiny. In essence didn't humans create science? Didn't humans create our own laws of physics? A Universre can't just pop up. And if you try to promote the "Big Bang": where did that reaction come from? In Chemistry, we all learned it, every reaction has reason behind it. Just saying.

@want2playsoccer1 Human did not 'create' the laws of physics. The laws of physics have ALWAYS been there. Science is the process of working out what they are.
The universe can create it self. The idea of cause then effect,as you talk of in chemistry, is intrinsically liked the concept of space-time. Space-time did not exist before the big bang, ergo there was no cause as there was no time nor space for it to occur.

Also, what Hawkings is saying is that one doesn't need the Judeo/Christian/Islamic god to explain the origin of the Universe any more than one needs the ancient Greek god Zeus to explain the origin of lightning bolts or thunderstorms.
Instead, we find there is a natural explanation for it, which even when investigated closely continues to show no hints of neither design nor intent whatsoever.

Like you said, you are not an expert on this. Please don't pretend that you are. If god is a spiritual being that science can never explain, why should anyone believe your claim that he/she/it exists? If you can "experience" god with any of your senses, then science would be able to explain its existence now or at some time in the future. That's what science does. So go on believing in your fairy tales and ignore reality. I suppose that's easier for some people.

I can answer your question.
The laws of physics are God. They are immaterial, timeless, irrefutable, and eternal. They create and govern the universe. Learning physics is to learn the mind of God.
Also note that the laws of physics do not experience jealousy, demand sacrifices, or condemn humans to eternal torment.

Just because they claim to "know" that certain effects of motion exist, does not make them correct in their assumptions about these effects of motion which are infinitely complex. the only thing illogical around here is the way all you supporters of Hawking blindly accept these theories as absolute law. The Gospel according to Hawking/Susskind Tavistock/Stanford. These men have proven nothing about string theory or quantums. All they have proven is that there are effects of motion that are extremely complex yet they haven't found the cause of the motion. Logically one could conclude by empirical observation that your senses are deceived & fundamentally flawed.

Tell me Tetra...in fact PROVE to me that mankind is advanced. You can't by his actions alone, he proves every moment of the day how much a monkey he is. Science and religion are filled with sense based monkeys. Why should i listen to a monkey tell me about the Universe? Man and his religions/sciences are compartmentalized primitive sense based interpretations of something way deeper, which mankind cannot perceive with his senses. Like i said earlier, he is still an infant in the cosmos.

He is saying how laws of physics make it possible for the universe to be created. He is saying the big bang created everything. However, who created physics? I won't disagree with the concept of the big bang, nor will I disagree with the fact that it's physically possible for these things to be created from nothing. However, I don't see how it's possible for people to just completely disregard all of what I just said. Understand, I'm not trying to tell people what to believe.
