  • I have seen a photo of one 9 TP captured by the Germans.

It seems that both of them were used in the defence of Warsaw.

  • "German Pzkv I an II had no chance against them"

Panzer II was able to destroy 7TP quite easly - if the distance wasn't to big. 7TP's armor wasn't thick enough.

  • Armour was 7TP's biggest weakness, it was 5-18mm thick. His successor 9TP (modernizes 7TP) had armour 5-40mm thick. On September 1939 Poland only have two prototypes 9TP.

  • German-Czechoslovakian light tanks Panzer 35t and 38t were as good as Polish 7TP.

  • 37mm Bofors gun of 7TP could destroy every german tank in 1939. 7TP with 37mm gun was one of the best light tank on begging of II World War. German was using captured 7TP in Poland and later in France. It was first diesel engine tank in mass production.

  • Battle of Mokra 1939 - polish Volhynian Cavalry Brigade equiped 37mm Bofors gun and 7th Infantry Division won with Germans: 1st Panzer Division, 4th Panzer Division, 31st Infantry Division

  • My grandfather fought there :)

  • Be proud - Możesz być dumny z dziadka. Pozdro.

  • This litlle anti-tank guns was amazing. Polish Tanks 7TP used them. German Pzkv I an II had no chance against them but ... German had more tanks. The same was in Russia. German tanks were better, but Russians had more T34.
