Yeah - Velveteen sounds increadibly similar to deathcab but they are a great band though. Of course they are not as amazing as the legendary ben gibbard, especially when it comes down to the lyrics but I saw them live and it was a wonderful evening. I even like the albume home waters a little better than for example narrow stairs.

I got 'No Sunlight' from limewire (I know, shame on me.)

and I got this song instead.

I was like "Oh! A new dcfc song I havent heard!"

But its not.

Actually, it wasn't an "idiot" who released the fake album... it was a very popular music blog, and he has released fake albums as April Fool's jokes for 3 years straight. And if you actually think this vocalist sounds anything like Ben Gibbard, you are tone deaf.
