Fantastic game looks amazing beats everything currently on the market. Obviously Gears 3, duke nukem may change things. Otherwise this game is very similiar to Time Shift on the xbox 360. Did they basically just do a fancy update of an old game?

Online games are not better on the consoles, because there are no Dedicated Servers like on the PC. Thus, console players have to suffer with bad connection and host advantages, while PC players do not.

Stupid consoles have stoped crysis 2 from being what it can be. In the Cryengine 3. Resolution is lowered. Particle Effect quality is lowered. No. of object on screen at once is lowered. all of this and more. and yet we PC users have to suffer these flaws just because the console wants crysis.
The PC version and Console versions Engine wise will be completely different...
You can see it in the editors when they showcase them on consoles, they take a glance at the PC version and the lighting and textures and DOF are a much greater quality on the PC..
You can also see artifacting on the Console versions which made me lol...
@KrystalLuva Graphics can help you alot in fps, with the resolution of a console and the overall medium graphics settings, things can become blured when moving very easily, and in busy areas it can even be hard to make out enemy.
I was only pointing out the fact that pc:s are superior to consoles, i never said anything about people being to poor to afford a high end pc. My pc is in fact outdated and i have a ps3 and will properbly get it for the console, Btw i myself dont care to much about the looks, after all the gameplay and story is the most important part in a game :)

Why do people act like graphics are the only thing that matter in the game? It seems like they would buy a game with graphics the closet to real life you can get but the game play would just be looking at a pile of horse shit an would rate it a 10/10. It just makes no sense to me. To me what matters is sound track an game play graphics is quite down there on my list if I will buy a game or not.

Its so laughable this is coming out on console, this game is a benchmark for powerfull gaming computers... but hey, atleast pc players can enjoy the graphics aswell as the gameplay! DX11 and teselation here we come.

Stupid consoles have stoped crysis 2 from being what it can be. In the Cryengine 3. Resolution is lowered. Particle Effect quality is lowered. No. of object on screen at once is lowered. all of this and more. and yet we PC users have to suffer these flaws just because the console wants crysis.

The PC version and Console versions Engine wise will be completely different...
You can see it in the editors when they showcase them on consoles, they take a glance at the PC version and the lighting and textures and DOF are a much greater quality on the PC..
You can also see artifacting on the Console versions which made me lol...

@KrystalLuva Graphics can help you alot in fps, with the resolution of a console and the overall medium graphics settings, things can become blured when moving very easily, and in busy areas it can even be hard to make out enemy.

I was only pointing out the fact that pc:s are superior to consoles, i never said anything about people being to poor to afford a high end pc. My pc is in fact outdated and i have a ps3 and will properbly get it for the console, Btw i myself dont care to much about the looks, after all the gameplay and story is the most important part in a game :)

Why do people act like graphics are the only thing that matter in the game? It seems like they would buy a game with graphics the closet to real life you can get but the game play would just be looking at a pile of horse shit an would rate it a 10/10. It just makes no sense to me. To me what matters is sound track an game play graphics is quite down there on my list if I will buy a game or not.

If that game wasn't on consoles the developers would get 50% less customers and it'll take them much longer to make a sequel. AND, many people would just pirate it so make that 80% less customers.

Firstly, since its going to be released on the consoles the developers had more money to work with so if it wasnt for that, the game would have taken 1 more year or been lower graphics anyway.
