i think. they both sound alike because they both got lessons from that "the zen of screaming" chick or what ever her name is. but whatever she did. trivium is coming out with an album in 2010. and i guarentee that they are going to surpass many huge godlike bands atm

Nah, Corey's scream is more like a grunt if you ask me, I think its just dependent on like ones ability to hit notes etc well to some degree, I still prefer Matt's scream.

I wonder what the new album will be like...And dude, Trivium have already surpassed godlike bands :)

Hell yeah, tbh its only the hardcore fans that can listen to those bands listed without getting bored, I mean I love, Love Metallica and Slipknot but sometimes I just can't help switching them off and listening to Trivium, Slayer are also great but their songs sound very similar imo and I just feel a bit bored, I still love Slayer though too!

i think. trivium. is easily 1 of the best bands out right now. i just wish i matt didnt switch from deans. because i bought his dean. and now i want a lespaul. but in like 10 years. i think matt's dean is going to be worth a shit load since they only produced it for less then a year. and they are awesome

yeah. i got some vids too!!! lol. i also have an epiphone g-400 that i customized. put like 1000 into it haha. but i dont play that as much as my dean. but 1 thing i got for my dean because i hate floyd roses. i got a tremol-no which locks my bridge and i can make it freefloating or just so it dives. or lock it. its soo awesome. but on your dean did they mess up the screw holes in for your springs? like they drilled 5 in mine and it uses 3. wierd

I had 3 springs which is fine [i now have 4] but the screws in the back were messed up so it needed a lot of work ¬_¬

Yeah, it was £860 or something over here and they still fucked it up!

I've got a cover of it up, I learned the solo by ear and don't have a tab so you'll probably have some trouble with it, good luck though!

i think they left dean cuz dean headstocks suck dick. sorry to put it so blunly. but i ordered a ML 2 years ago, and the first one i got had a broken wing on the headstock. sent it back just to recieve one w/ the headstock broken. theyre too fragile. so i got a jackson kelly KE2 which feels and plays better anyways. hell there is videos on here where matt's headstock breaks on while playing. and then another video where his guitar tips after he takes it off and the headstock fell off...

only metal bands i dont get tired off is megadeth, trivium, and iced earth.

megadeth cuz mustaine can write some music, and gotta love the older thrash stuff.

trivium cuz theyre just good

and iced earth cuz matt barlow is one of the greatest metal vocalists of all time hell the best to me. and not to mention jon shaffer is one of the best rhythm guitarists in metal as is mustaine. but u gotta love the fast thrashy gallopping riffs shaffer does

Corey's scream is great but Matt is the voice of Trivium so now that you can hear them both scream its like Corey isn't as good.

Corey's scream is too rough in my opinion. Matt's is like really gutteral without sounding like he's trying to sing in a death metal band lol

And then there's the crazy high pitched screaming like Varg Vikernes in Burzum.
