They were heavily influenced by Machine Head but for back then, it was cool shit. adam Duce from MachineHead used 2 come to all our shows too. It was such a cool experience, especially when Monte conner from Roadrunner records too an interest in us. it was between us & 36 Crazyfists, then i quit like an idiot

In fact, the singer for my band back then, Chris Aguirre, did guest vocals on a song called "disturbing the art of expression" on the revolting room CD but i quit the band and they broke up right before it came out so they cut most of his guest vocals out and only left the end portion at low volume.Those were the days. Us, Skinlab, Scorched Earth Policy & Unjust playin shows. i was 17

It could stem from the weak song structure (of both bands), but I think the problem is from their basic concepts of music. Riffs that are overdone, bad production/guitar tone, incoherent song structure, and the gimmicky nature of how the band is marketed.
