@GsBBoyDan There's a physics law that says, you can't get to a place faster without using more energy.
These things use more energy because of the bouncing part, and getting there faster will also use more energy, so no. You cannot run the same distance faster while using the same or less energy as just running on your own feet.
@totten94 depends on the losses in the system. If the springs uses the (normally lost) energy from the impact and adds them to the rebound then you can go faster with less energy. Running is extremely energy inefficient, there are many ways to improve.
Pro's have more fluid movements and they feel more natural, but the cost shows. The normal ones are for people that arent doing it for the sport, but for the joy of it... Hope it helps!
when you do your spring grabs try and make it so both your feet come up to the same level otherwise it looks too sloppy but well done for youe second go.
