I'm thinking of buying Morrowind now. I actually love older graphics, and with these improvements, just wow. Something about the graphics engine is just lovely.

@TheWiseRaptor Don't. It isn't worth the money. Morrowind had the /worst/ combat engine out of any Elder Scrolls game. You could be hitting something directly in the face, not even half a foot away and none of the hits would register.

@PoohunterGames I was on the video because I thought, "Hey, maybe this guy is using some sort of mod to fix the combat." And honestly I was just interested in the progress. I told the guy not to buy it because combat IS a big part of the game and the combat in Morrowind is broken as hell. Every Elder Scrolls before and after it was a combat specific title. If you didn't realize that after playing, you're an idiot.

Just point me a game released in 2002 with this kind of graphics, storyline and gameplay! Bethesda has done and will continue to do a great job with rpg's. Although it was never about the graphics for Bethesda, Oblivion (including mods) has the most beautiful graphics I have ever seen in a pve game. I don't have a pc powerful enough to deal with skyrim or oblivion in ultra graphics. I bought skyrim on ps3, however, the graphics are great. I keep creating new characters and it never gets boring!!

@EWLTM You mad because it was based upon a chance-to-hit ratio compared to the "always hit, depending on skill is how much damage" style of Oblivion? IMO, Morrowind > Oblivion any day.

@Zane1422 It was too random and even with high archery and OK bow it still was too inaccurate, it was too fun breaking so archery really wasn't a fair option compared to melee and magic, early game.

looks great. The various graphic mods Ive seen over the past few years always make Morrowind look much better, but the area where the greaphics are lacking are weapons and magic. Some swords look like one giant pixel and combat with them is a simple up and down or side to side movement. Morrowind needs a weapon & magic graphics overhaul...

You should keep the new trees, but place Vality's over[Vality's doesnt replace EVERY bitter coast tree like vurt's, so you'll get both] them to get the jungle effect.

For new textures, rather than get the light, almost artificial ones, try to make them dark and lush, like Connary's.

@fraghetti little confused on the comment, the video is edited from over 15 different parts to get what we have now. The older video main issue with everyone was the loading screens, so now it's all game play. If you watch in the water you see a fish attack the character at one point which causes the shift in the music, I tried to edited down the best I could.
