Yeah, that scene really shows how hollow and hypocritical Ted is. To be so cynical about the very thing he's supposed to be an "expert" at, and to mock a kid that way, treat him with such cynicism. This dude has major issues. One of the most troubling aspects of the film was how intelligent and full of potential a lot of the kids were. Levi, Rachael...they have the world at their fingertips and they're being boxed in, mentally and physically. So sad.
