Monica was once the gold digging tramp or just a plain tramp. Carly's right, she & Monica do have a lot in common. Monica believed she was passing off Rick Webber's baby as Alan's. Before Alan even came to town, she was married to handsome sweet Jeff Webber while having an affair with his brother Rick. The affair hurt Jeff so much, he shot himself. Although Carly can push some pretty serious buttons in people, I don't think suicide has been one of them yet.

Good scene and you're all right. I've been catching up and all Sara clips because I've only seen Tamara, Jennifer and Laura in the role, and though I think Laura is the best besides Sara, and Tamara was definitly good, Sara is the only true Carly. She had so many different ways of acting one line. She was a bitch, but you could tell she was also a hindered soul who was forever seeking approval. I love it! Sara is great! Laura's good too.

now, THIS is the real Carly!! This is when I really liked Carly, a blend of hateful and bitter and bitchy, yet vulnerable and seeking approval. Unlike the rest of the Carly's after her who were nothing but mean bitches!! (YAWN!) It is more interesting to see characters with many colors, not just one note. And God, I love Monica!
