Vista is OK, my friends runs fine on 1gig.

The only reason I don't like is for compatability reasons like connecting to wifi or exepting drivers, somtimes these can be difficult.

Vista doesn't suck THAT bad. Of course, Windows 7 is way better. I've been running the RTM and I love it.
