ALL mics require an interface if you want to track them on a computer. Gotta change vibrations into 1's and 0's right??!
You could probably do this with an Mbox or one of those cheap two channel solutions, but unless you want to be doing a lot of recording, why bother? There's a lot to learn, and if you get hooked, your wallet will never ever ever recover. ever.

you choose your head based on what sound you want, hardcore usually uses orange heads, and heavy metal would use krank or marshall
