I wouldn't label SADX and SA2B failures. very well thought out games, and I should know I was there at toys R us when Sonic Adventure and the Dreamcast made their debut. I'll never forget the excitement and joy of playing it the first time. those are not fail games and you all shouldn't cast them in the same shadow of failure as of the sonic games that are truly bad, starting with Sonic Heroes.

@executableapplet Yeah, after the relative failures of Sonic Adventure and SA2, Sega really let Sonic go. They had a winning formula with Sonic 3 and Knuckles, and they should have just developed it.

At least we have Sonic 4 to look forward to. It seems that Sega has been learning its lesson from games like Sonic Rush and Sonic Unleashed: stick with the side-scrolling action.
