no, the car bottomed out. any car would, even a range rover. lexus has had no problems with quality ever, and neither has toyota. honda did once, and so did nissan, but they are all superb today.

Nowadays they try to have them compete with the Range Rover and make them luxurious, but since Chrysler uses cheap, shiny, plastic materials the cabin is absolute rubbish. I hate to say it, because I am a Jeep fan, but Jeep went very far downhill.

This Lexus GX470 (2007 model year) uses the exact same platform as the 1997 Toyota Prado.

It's a good chassis and all, but COME ON 10 years.

naa dude i think they should keep it the way it is cuz i feel like the next gx will be unibody and will take away the offroad capabilities that this one has. same goes for the 4runner. i am very happy with the design doesnt need a new one in my opininon

yeah i like the design too but i am afraid that they might make the next gx too wimpy and turn it to unibody and its offraod capability wont be as good anymore. they update it the way they did with the landcruiser and lx570
