  • @bestpufferfish Me too!! I watched it when I was little.A couple days ago i wanted to watch it again and now I can't stop thinking about it.And not just "Spirited Away".All the Miyazaki's movies are great. And those movies will be the best memories of my childhood. ^.^

  • I remember how mad I was when my parents rent this movie for me (idk why I was like 8 years old? rage kid--) and I ended up loving it , and rented it like all the time. Then when I got sick and ended up in hospital for several weeks , they bought me the movie, and gosh I was so happy x'D

  • This was my favorite movie when I was a child. I didn't even really understood what happened in the movie, but I loved it. Now when I'm older and I watched it again, I can really see how beautiful this movie really is. I just love this movie.

  • All of these movies made my life better lol and the music in them helped it just that much more

  • Oh my gosh! I remember watching this when I was 9 and it freaked me out so much but I loved it! My dad had rented it and I hadn't seen it since until about a year ago (I'm 17 going on 18 now) when I couldn't remember the title but I remembered vaguely what the movie was about, and then I finally found the movie at some store! I was so happy! Brings back soooo many memories! <3 and just for the record, Haku is my favourite character! That's just my opinion though. I'm jealous of Chihiro ^_~

  • Mi infancia...

  • my favorite one in the magical movie series :X

  • MY ENTIRE BODY IS A GOOSEBUMP

  • The heck with disney princess!! I GOT HAKU!! HEHE! God i was about 8 when this movie came out! It scared me a little when i was little but i still watched it even tho i didnt get it. Now i am almost 20 and i still love this movie.

  • @L2ACE there is way too much hidden symbolism and way too many literary themes for a kid to understand in this movie!

  • @sylinmino I know right! lol i love this movie so much. It makes you look at reality differently.... in a good way.

  • My most favorite parts would have to be when Chihiro and Haku are falling -levitating?- in the air and crying in joy!

And let's not forget the part where they depart..THEY HUGGED! LIKE OHEMGEE.

But she had to goo... :C

Maybe, he said don't look back becus he was trying to erase her memories?..lets ponder.

  • @B2UTYFosho No-face was my favorite part. what he symbolized and paralleled to our culture was priceless, and it made my almost cry while on the train, and actually cry when you see him finally happy and at home!

  • 「千と千尋の神隠し」は本当に綺麗な映画だ。。。音楽も綺麗だ。。。 傑作でね。宮崎駿監督 と久石 譲作詞は天才だ。 ♥

  • Would of been better if the voice was higher pitched but it is good

  • Love this

  • I watched it about 15 times.

  • the hair of haku and howl's is very simillar although i find it cute and interesting..:3

  • why would anyone dislike this??? This movie made me cry and watched it again and again!

  • I wish i can have experience just like chihiro >^<

  • excuse me, can someone please tell me who sang this song? I've searched and found that it was Ayaka Hirahara but this person'r voice doesn't sound like hers? Thank you :D

  • @JoPpro I think it may be Youmi Kimura but I'm not entirely sure

  • This song bright back so many memories if my childhood :)

  • Gee this brings back memories :)

  • I Love it ... With all of my Heart. I don't have more words to explain how beautiful this movie is...

  • This song makes me want to cryyy D; I love Studio Ghibli films so much. I can't wait to go see the new one today. I've been watching all the old ones I could find on netflix and they give me nostalgia-attacks xD

  • watched this yesterday for the first time and i must say that this was a an amazing movie even for a 18 year old.

  • I'm a 17-year-old Malaysian too. :D

  • @DetectiveHaruno, heyyyyy, Malaysia is my country. Watch your words. Hahahaha! Just kidding. Although I'm a Malaysian, I never got the chance to watch Boboi Boy. I think Boboi Boy is especially for kids and I'm already 17. :P

  • This movie makes me cry what am i saying i cried in the end wahhhhhh T_T

  • hahaha I like this very very much i cant believe missed this movie coz it was last year haha but i am happy it showed on disney channel haha Kohaku and chihiro

  • @DetectiveHaruno hey um r u talking about his spirit side or is "stolen" name? cuz haku is his name given by Ubaba and Kohaku is his real name, just don't get them confused!

  • I wish there were spirited away 2 haha

  • Too bad they didn't listen to zeniba haha Their inlove

  • I love Kohaku!!!

  • Yeah i really like this movie, the ending is so beautiful i wish i could watch this forever I watched this 2X haha on Disney channel Right guyzzz

  • I wish they make a sequel of this. T_T

I've always wanted to see Haku and Chihiro declared their love. :p

  • @119951000 : Read Spirited Away 2: Return to the Spirit Away. Haku and Chihiro are way too cute. They reunited, overcame all challenges and finally got married. Really really sweet :">

  • @rei12890 dont think there's any sequel to sprited away . i think the one you read is fan made :D

  • @mazrin90 Yuppp. Miyazaki does not seem to continue with the original movie after 10 years ^^. But trust me, this fanfic is definitely worth reading, it's a truly happy ending anway ^^

  • @rei12890 haha obviously since you've already included spoilers in your sinopsis

  • @rei12890, oh yeah! i've read it and i'm halfway already. :) and u know what, i've printed every chapters so that i can read them whenever i want. no need to go through the internet. :)

  • cant wait for howl's moving castle next saturday XD

  • I rarely, and I mean barely ever do I cry because of movies or books, however all of Haiyo's movies especially this one had me tearing. The soundtrack plus a great storyline and some of the most beautiful animation I have ever seen makes this a forever classic. How I wish for a sequel not ruined by Disney.

  • @StormTheEevee funnily enough, i saw this in Disney. Such a lovely song ruined by Boboi Boy.

  • @loviefree im watcvhing it now too

  • @FTislandSuJuSHIee me too! disney hehe <3

  • @loviefree haha right boboiboi too bad it is now malaysian language haha

  • Ptint :'( !!! Sa me rapelle trop de souvenir 8'(

  • I wish there was a sequel

  • @fangpired wow... i was just thinking that and then i read ur comment. I would flip if they made a sequel.. where have all the good animation films gone!?!? <3 princess mononoke + castle in the sky

  • i just watched this movie today ... now i cant sleep xD

  • @len04kagamine It has that affect x)

  • For the first time i watched this movie I'm so touched. Until I can feel it with my heart.

  • I really love this movie~~ This song sometimes make me cry deeply into my heart.. this movie is really sad~~ I've enjoy watching them...

  • Miyasaki movie's should be a true inspiration to all movies.

  • These kinds of movies make me truly love our generation. Without it, we could not have the possibility of rewatching films like these, and making them better/sharper. Also, creating more movies and easier too.<3

  • I'm in love with this movie i've watched at least 100 times sice i was 5 it was the first anime i ever saw and i will never regret that thanks Hayao Miyazaki for showing me what a real movie is this song moves me to tears(:

  • i listen to this while i do my homework, i get really emotional and it reflects in my writing. i had about 19 questions to answer, and it turned out to be about 11 and 1/2 pages long (doubble spaced!) but i love this song so much. It's beautiful! it's spectactular. it's an oasis in a desert open to wary travelers. kind and gental then a burst of joy and love. ops there i go again. see what i mean?

  • this song makes me feel really odd. bittersweet. almost reminiscent but of nothing. of something i cant remember...i guess it fits the movie.

  • i'm taking japanies in High school it's been decided by just listening to this!!

  • Comment removed

  • @apple1231230 yeah miyazaki directed nausicaa and princess mononoke. as far as I know he's pretty much directed everything studio ghibli produced

  • best of the movie and soundtrack

  • an endless path extending from the sightline of the travellers. wandering into infinite space has long ago reminded him of how his feelings of loniness extend into emptiness. that seems to happen alot and wonders why his time is ending. but only now can he uderstand the beauty of the world. one day he sees his family in the distance he ran forward and they turn round and look at him with tearful eyes and he knows his travels are over. it is not his time to go so he turns round and walks away.

  • This was my first movie of Miyazaki's that I've ever owned and it will forever and always BE MY FAVORITE! I love Haku and Chihiro so much. The plot was AMAZING! Second favorite? Princess Mononoke! Oh yes, and Howl's Moving Castle! I love these three so much with all my heart! Miyazaki is forever my favorite director! <3

  • @SebbyxLina21 I haven't seen Princess Mononoke but I've seen so much fan art from DA of her! So it is good? And Howl's Moving Castle, I shall definitely add them to my movies-to-watch list.
