cool! i have a helicopter set (4895) that uses the same thing.

1st spins propeller

2nd spins propeller and fires cannons!

you could make it like a gyro transmission.....such as when you turn a corner the weight would cause the gears to shift to a lower gear..

the cog that is connected to the motor is underneath the cog that is moving. every time you change the battery box switch the cog that is sensative is moving because the motor has engugh power to do so if i don,t make sense i am sorry.

guess you could have both front and reverse. then for "Bulldozing" use reverse and for streetracing use forward

If you mean the problem with reverse gear - all you need is a PF switch. I actually used that gearbox in a car already.
