This implies that Mori is feeling guilty that he did NOT lie to Tama in the first place; this is a kid who has been raised in a Martial family type (doesn't lie) and has a servantile/guardian relationship with Mitsukuni. While undoubtedly he loves Hunny, it's not romantic.
