@pigeonapocalypse look up on suspendedinlight(DOT)com, don't know if you will find there anything about it, but it's the source where it comes from, made by Josh Graham, maybe you ask him ;o)
When they played at Brutal Assault, I saw one guy literally shit his pants because of the music. He wasn't high, not even drunk, he just got... absorbed. Guess that means something...
You know?...I keep listening to other bands, and over and over again, no one comes close to what neurosis did. They seriously stand alone. It's sad that they are no longer together. I took many friends, over the years, to their concerts, and the usual feedback was, 'that was the worst band I ever saw in my life'!!!! My friends are idiots! It takes a rare person to 'get' them, They are true artists, to me.
@davethehostage Someone told me once a few years ago that they broke up. I should have questioned that. Seeing the responses here prompted me to google them and I see they have shows scheduled. Good. Nice to see I was misinformed.
@tawras Isis is actually signed to Hydra Head, the label created by Isis' own Aaron Turner, although I think they used to be signed to Neurot (correct me if I'm wrong) :D
@exhume19 Not wrong. But Isis never released a full album, only EPs, on Neurot I think. And Isis released through Ipecac Ithought (Mike Patton's label). Either way. Isis and Neurosis ... bands should just become one entity anyway.
@bekicide Honestly - when people would tell me about whatever band they love and say "going to a "________" show will change your life, man...." I always kind of thought they were bullshitting me. I've been to so many shows and never felt like my life was changed. The first time I saw Neurosis was at that Masonic Temple in Brooklyn and they opened with this. I then understood.
@bekicide Your friends are idiots indeed :D I'd consider finding new ones ;-) Takes a little effort to grasp the music of Neurosis.. nothing for peple who prefer easy listening.
@bekicide I don't know man. I listen to some Celtic Frost and it makes me think a lot of neurosis. Or maybe it should be the other way around. Either way great band and video
Great video to hypnotic and irrestible track by a truly pioneering band. Love the wolf in infrared and the timelapsing too in infrared. Well done. I'm a recent but huge fan of Neurosis. Please check out my poetry - more to come.
how could I "overlisten" this song for such a long time *__* ... Have to buy their full discography.. and if it costs me my last penny <3

anyone have any idea of the source(s) of these visuals? as in the films/footage they were taken from?
The clips of the lone figure walking through the mountains is especially intriguing...

Amazing visuals, perfect accompaniment to the intensity of this song. Reminds me a bit of the E Elias Merhige film, Begotten.
