I love how it was the layland that broke down what they don't tell you in the film is the layland was lent to astran to promote the marathon and dick rivers worked for layland as their top test driver and the bloody thing broke down .lol and they wonder how the british truck building ind went belly up .

proper lorry drivers back then i`m a long distance driver and we are wrapped in cotton wool now you break down you make a phone call someone comes out and fixes it i love my job it was my child hood dream to be a long distance lorry driver and now i live the dream i love to watch old footage of truck driving it was so diffrent back then i take my hat off to the lads that did the middle east runs what an adventure let them truckers roll 10.4

look at the flat tire at 6:05 so obvious its flat yet he walks past kicks the one in front then goes back to the flat one .just a bit staged plus you can see the yellow chalk mark pointing out the hole with an arrow lol.
