  • great scene.

  • He shoulda just took them to some pizza restaurant

  • "...Lookin all Fred Flintstone" Funny as heck but terribly painful at the same time. If you don't know how to conduct yourself in environment like that (because you grew up in a completely different environment) you just DON'T KNOW. 30+ years ago, I guarantee that guy we me...lookin all Fred Flintstone.

  • brilliant

  • Cultural Infusion=FAIL!!!!!

  • Nobody got shot, no drugs were dealt, and yet out of all 5 seasons of The Wire this was one of the most gut-wrenching scenes. Like tdot22, that was me -to a T. When you grow up poor and ghetto, with that being your environment on a daily basis, you just don't know.

What to order?HOW to order? What do you say in conversation? What's a tip? What fork to use first?Do you use a straw to sip water? On and on and on, man! Mentally jumping to a higher socioeconomic level is EXTREMELY hard. Painful

  • @BriMarErn IDK man I rate Dukie coming home and seeing his family has up and left without a word or even a note to be the most gut wrenching scene in season 4. :-(

  • i think the meaning of this scene is to show, that these kids no matter what, they come from the ghetto and the lifestyle is all they know. or to show how social construct segregates the rich from the poor

  • " yea im like that, you be thinkin im all ghetto then i flip it, nd mess ya mind all up"

    -Namond :)

  • Did anyone catch Darnell's face when the waitress mentioned the chicken XD.

  • this reminds me of dangerous minds, the scene where the teacher takes raul out to eat lol

  • Those 3 kids were me when i was in America, I lived in poverty while going through school, and I was so awkward when i got my first job and I had to go to restaurants, company events, or even out to lunch as lunch for me would mean either McDonalds/Taco Bell or KFC and for my colleagues it meant a restaurant which I would consider high end. Seeing this clip brought me back memories.

  • What is Namond doing eating dinner with the Cop and his family, I thought he was Wee-Bey's son.

  • wat the hell is zenobia wearin hahaha

  • those kids want for something for fancy restaurant.

  • Ruth's Chris used to be great, not so much in the last 10 years or so.

  • Darnell: Yo Mr. C can we stop at MCDS?? :P

  • I think they got the idea of this scene from the movie "dangerous minds"

  • naymond got dammmnnnnnn

  • jus cus u a girl dont mean i wont fuck u all up nigga pleassssssse lol
