Egypt must elect a woman president for stability and equal rights for all. “We cannot pretend freedom for ourselves and impact restrictions on others; a majority cannot vote out an individual's freedom”… Government must be regulated by the people; not the government regulating the people. The Egyptian people must take innovative procedures and create their “own” elections; and include on their ballot term limits!

Evidence for why women can't lead in Islam:

It was narrated that Abu Bakrah said: When the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) heard that the people of Persia had appointed the daughter of Chosroes as their queen, he said, “No people will ever prosper who appoint a woman in charge of them.”

@heronhorde this is a twisted translation of the Hadith, the Hadith said "those who appointed a woman leader won't live so long." as he received the news, he was stating a historical fact that the Persians are coming to an end NOT an Islamic law.

@heronhorde IT is true though that several scholars have taken the Hadith as reference that probably the prophet PBUH was referring to them appointing a female leader as a problem, and I wonder how this troubles the west where MOST people in charge on all levels are Men? hypocrisy eh?

But in Islam Holy Quran say: (Quran - 2:228 ):{....the rights of the wives [with regard to their husbands] are equal to the [husbands'] rights with regard to them,....}

Any government can be shut down by the people... All governments need funding. All governments extort ($) from the people for their funding. If the people come together and refuse to hand over their money to the government; the government then cannot make payroll; and that government becomes shut down. The people of Egypt must take this position to win freedom for themselves.

@acerb45666555 It's BEAUTIFUL how the Christians and Muslims in Egypt have grown stronger over the past month. A terrorist attack hit a church, and the Muslims acted as human sheilds in and outside of churches all over Egypt during Christmas Mass to say "kill them, kill us. We are one!" And during a Muslim prayer in Tahrir Square, the Christians held hands and formed a circle around the Muslims to say "nobody come near them!" I love Egypt and Egyptians! I hope this is not all in vain!
