Hmmm but in bioshock 2 is a weird story the Lil girls in the good ending be with the big sister and her now rested big daddy/ the real father of hers goes in her soul but in this bioshock 1 well I see it have some weird storys together how the Lil sisters stab the shit out of that "I Am Iron Man from the 99 cent store outfit" and he adopt them and move on with they life and I see that those now big sister will love that guy who kick big daddy's asses and the bad guys lol what a hell of a life (

Great ending...but Bioshock 2's "good" ending, was the most epic in gaming history. Hands down. But Bioshock 1's opening was the most epic in gaming history.

@thawhtet8 it is very likely canon given that tenenbaum returns to rapture in bioshock 2 (evil ending entails you destroying and taking everything from the place and furthermore, these little sisters (ie. Tenenbaum's) survive but they want nothing to do with her after what she did to them which also serves as a reason for her returning.
