  • @somerset1273 where are you??

  • One of kevin spaceys shortest and most powerful roles. This movie wins in so many ways, its profound, thrilling, adventerous, and mind boggling.

  • i would so marry morgan freeman

  • "Hell, I sympathize; I sympathize completely. Apathy is the solution. I mean, it's easier to lose yourself in drugs than it is to cope with life. It's easier to steal what you want than it is to earn it. It's easier to beat a child than it is to raise it. Hell, love costs: it takes effort and work."

Somerset makes this movie. Morgan Freeman should have won an Oscar for this role.

  • There are so many profound statements in this movie. I think my favourite (which is somthing I feel is very common among people in our day of enlightenment) is this:

Sommerset to nightwatches of the public library: "Gentlemen, gentlemen. I'll never understand. All these books. A world of knowledge at your fingertips, and what do you do? You play poker all night."

The ending line is also very good. Really hits you. I won't repeat it incase someone hasn't seen the movie.

  • It's good to find someone who agrees with me on that.

  • I love the nightwatches's response:

    "We got culture."

"Yeah, we got culture coming out our ass!"

  • @smaakjeks Hey man i also like that dialogue and that scene as well Detective studing his case.

  • Morgan Freeman is amazing.

  • I love when Somerset says 'they want to eat cheeseburgers, play the lotto and watch television'

Se7en is a strong movie. From different perspectives all the caracters, Mills, Somerset and even Doe are right.

  • @TeunPijnappelklier well, i doubt doe was right lol. i agree with you on the other two though

  • 1:28

One of my all-time favorite movie scenes. Perfect writing and acting.

  • "You know this isn't going to have a happy ending."
