  • Hey Twittelah-ers...Jewish mothers have been setting up their children for centuries and now with the Internet making more matches possible, TheJMom.com is a free website with no sign-up fees for Jewish mothers to arrange dates and potential long term relationships for their children, offers a free $50 Visa gift card to its members with three new registrants on TheJMom. In honor of Mothers Day through May 31, 2011, J mothers, grandmothers or aunts are invited to register their kids.

  • funny

  • This is so funny and soo true!

Few more question should be added to twitteleh list :

1."What did you eat?" after "have you eaten?"

2."Is that sweater thick enough? cause i'm not so sure.."

    3."Is he\she jewish?"

    4."What his/her parents do?"

    5."Is this what you're wearing?"

6."Why don't you call me more often?"

But i'll sattle for the basic 3.

    Where do i sign up?

  • @Phantomlordess This Jewish mother would settle today on the 3rd Hanukah candle lighting and erev Shabbot for phone calls from her daughter and son. Wonderful vid. Had me laughing and crying at the same time. Tatelehs...........my Jewish mother would only acknowledge the 3rd hanukah licht as her birthday since she was born Xmas day lol. Happy hanukah to all the Jewish mothers. Hannah Rahel the original twitteleh :)

  • Finalllyyyyy a jewish mother updater!!!!!!

  • Oy Gevolt.

This is halarious and so true.

I need to know if this is real though.

It would save me a lot of time.

  • So where do i sign up?

  • it's funny cuz it's true!

  • im jewish and that should be twitteleh for your jewish GRAMMA!!

  • So funny! For the girls the questions would be : Who did you date last night? Is he a doctor? What does his father do? Are you wearing lipstick? Oy vey.

  • If this was real it would make my life so much better. God I'm such a kvetch.

  • Want to make your Jewish Mother REALLY happy? find a nice Jewish girl and get married...No girl in mind? I've got a nice Jewish daughter you should meet.

  • Yes, my mothers mantra

    Find a nice jewish boy

    get married.

    Have kids XD

  • send her to school in Hawaii.

    we need Jewish women here.

    On Oahu

  • lol, 'im not jewish, but now that i am o twitalah, im going to law school."

  • I'm wearing a sweater!

  • Very funny :-)

  • how many people know that if this existed their mothers would make them join?

  • me...

  • Jewish mothers of all countries and origins have similar thoughts and worries(I am russian-jewish Mom myself), we are always thinking about our boys(girls) even if they are mature adults.

Kids, we siply love you more then life...

  • Hilarious. Thank you for making this, it's an instant classic.

  • Not surprisingly,

It's okay, don't worry about me, I'll sit here in the dark, it's not like I need to see well, you don't really care about me, you never did.

    is exactly 140 characters. :)

  • Very funny! Watched this with my Jewish mother.

  • I appreciated the casting of one Goy for the shoot.

  • is that you bob ross?

  • hahahaha

  • this is very interesting.

  • Jesus. He had to eat the bagel? - My Jewish mother says "Zach, go get me some more Chardonnay..." And then she throws up in my son's crib.

  • What's shtooping?

  • It's cool video !!!

    David. a good Jewish boy.

  • Voy vadda fakaktus schtup!

    Any1 wanna suck my schmekki?

  • this is actually the greatest thing ever. I have sent it to ALL of my jewish friends. ANNND i ve watched it at least 10 times...once with MY jewish mother!!

  • I love it! adorable. Im sending this one on!

  • Very clever! DameEdithDivine endorses this video. 5Stars!

  • What twitter just for me, Love it

  • oy vay

  • I'm not even Jewish, but I'm plotzing! I really like the part that shows the mother trying to turn on the TV, light the grill and unlock the car with the Blackberry. Such a comedic actress!

  • I love this and want my son to use it! from a Jewish Mother

  • Question:

    What is the mother saying:

"So I can actually (inaudible) with this?"

    Who can tell us, please?

  • so i can TiVo Gray's...

    I think.

  • ha ha ha love the soon to be doctor

  • hahahahhhh!!!!!!

  • too perfect

  • LOOOL

  • I'm kvelling.

  • My mother LOVED this!

  • Oy, I've got tsurris. My mammaleh cannot operate wireless devices. The remote control is still a clicker to her and she tries to answer it when the phone rings. Smoke signals make her happy enough, so I'll eschew Twitteleh the way I did Twitter. Genug already.

  • Hilarious - I loved it! Only one kvetch - why no schmear on the bagel?

  • jewish mother character was great - kudos yeladim...

  • Such a mitzvah....and so funny!

  • I love the jew-fro

  • hilarious. well done!

  • Why is this social network different from all other social networks?

  • Utterly brilliant, I howled!!!!

  • awesome - I love the Jewish mom in this movie - how come she doesn't get credited guys??!

  • Best screen name ever: atsarisborn. Well, almost as good as catholicschooljew

  • New, for the Jewish amphibians, Gefilte Tweet! Oy, such a nice boy should use this for his mother!

  • If only it were this easy... love you mom :)

  • LOL couldn't be truer.

  • lol

  • True, no one cares. And if you do, you have dependency problems.

  • Love this!

  • Interesting that all the users were male. I guess that's realistic. Jewish moms might not care as much about their daughters. they don't care where they are if they've eaten or if their wearing a sweater. if it was for daughters it would be when are you getting married and when are you having kids

  • Yep, the marriage/kids questions are uniquely applicable to Jewish daughters...

  • video complete with realistic last names and audi's and bmw's! haha ;)

  • What last names might you expect them to use - O'Reilly? Silvetti?

  • As another Jewish mother, this is so true. These 3 questions could satisfy me when my son is "too busy" to call!

  • fail

  • The missing question: "Did you move your bowels today?"

  • So, I can Tivo Grey's (Anatomy) with this?

  • what dies she ask at 1:24 ?

  • I think it was "so i can actually tivo grace with this?"

  • no, riptv heard it correctly...."can I Tivo Grey's with this?"

  • Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said he's loves jews and not to worry about the rhetoric.

  • hysterical! Did you call your brother/sister should be one of the added questions.

  • How true!!!!!!!!!!! Superior!

  • I"m Jewish and my mom showed this to me. It's hilarious, but true,,, haha

  • Being a Jewish mother, I can really relate to this. I am the same!

  • I wish my mom was alive to see this. Thank you and Great job whoever did this

  • Right on target...this is hilarious

  • Extraordinary-Right on!

  • Awesome! and I love the Jewfro

  • My mother sent this video to me and made sure to ask the three questions on her email. Fantastic!!

  • Haha my mom sent me this too.

  • Hilarious!

  • SWEET LORD THIS IS HILARIOUS.

  • This is great! Super funny!

Want some more laughs? Check out this hilarious beauty product commercial spoof called "Rosyline". Just type what's in between the quotes. SO. FUNNY.

  • lol, love it

  • 5* That was great!

  • As another Jewish mother, I thought this was right on. Expecially "phone calls take too much time" - I think my son texts me in order to avoid actually talking and I can't interrupt with questions. But someone should put this out as a real app - too funny.

  • is it me or is twitter usless? it's just status updates for god sakes

  • I agree. Although they're disguising it with parody here, it's not really - who the hell cares what you're eating for dinner?

  • Humor doesn't have to be true to be funny and it looks like most of us think this is very funny, as do I, a mother.

  • As a bonafide Jewsih Mother, I can only qvell with joy at the cleverness of this video written by smart Jewish kids. However, I must tell you, in strictest confidence, that my darling daughter, kineh horah, is always cold and always puts on her sweater. She eats well too. On her own, with no coaching from me. She calls, she texts, she facebooks and now, with your twitteleh, I can watch over the other parts of her life that are such a schandeh for her me.

  • Noice!

  • This is hysterical.....this is SO my mother in every way!! She doesn't have a computer..refuses it!

  • Haha, funneh

  • that's cute. you know, my grandmother asks me EVERY minute if i'm cold and want her sweater. can anyone explain this jewish phenomenon to me?

  • Oh so awesome! And accurate.

  • The important thing is: are you wearing a sweater?

  • adorable- my only complaint is the bagel in the beginning... every Jewish comedy clip has to overload the overplayed "symbols" of Jewishness. Without the dumb bagel bit, this clip would be A+++. With the bagel, it's an A

  • There was no cream cheese on the bagel! Feh!

  • I have a verrry Jewish Mother.. and now... I have become one myself...

    And DO ask those questions...

All I can say (for now) is "oy vey!!

  • its good but a lil bit slow and dragged out

  • Comment removed

  • Silly and stereotypical as it is, I did laugh out loud

  • Comment removed

  • This Jew approves. Too funny.

  • I am jewish and this hilarious.

  • OMG this is so funny, I'm sending it to all my friends! I'm screaming with laughter, no kidding! You are so damn clever!

  • stop kvetching ladies

  • So funny B, thanks for sending!

  • I am a jewish mother with adult children and I thoght it was very funny. It might not be an acccurate depicton of Jewish mothers, but humor is an exageration of reality.

  • why this doesn't work- no jewish mother of a certain 'age' understands how to use a computer, let alone 'twitter'.

  • i can use a computer and i twitter

  • Gee I don't know. I have a mac, a blackberry, an ipod touch...we aren't all techno-illiterate. Ageism is an ugly thing.

  • Very funny! And I'm the quintessential Jewish mother. See "Why I Hate Young People" on Youtube. But only if you're wearing a sweater!

  • I used to share all the "Jewish Mother" jokes and "JAP" jokes with my mother, and she used to say: "What do they want from us!!!"

Great video, I love it, thanks!!

  • very very funny make it real !

  • I love the Jew Fro. :) Very cute, oy. Such a mentch to make this biseleh video for his mommy and tatti. Such a groyser tzuleyger. Zei gazunt!

  • This is SO anti-Semitic. I'm going to report it to Mossad. And Commentary.

  • I'm Jewish and I say it's NOT! You're kidding, maybe?

  • Kidding? Me? A face like mine -- kid? I could kid? Look at this, world! Me, she's saying -- kid! I, kid! Gevalt!

  • Jewish, AND an opera person! I should have known! Landsman!

  • Hysterical! I laughed out loud. :-)

  • Now, my question is, does anyone really have a mother, Jewish or not, that fits these stereotypes?

  • hahah love it!

  • Feh...I am festuchan. This is making me schvitz...oy

  • all mothers have a little Jewish in them. They all know how to make you feel guilty.

  • Oh if only Moses had had Twitter ... hilarious!!!!

  • this vid is sick!

  • haha i wish this was real. i tried to go to the website...

  • They forgot the most important question: Are you wearing clean underwear?

  • hilarious!

another question...Are you wearing an undershirt?

  • hah, good work

  • IS TWITTELEH REAL :o

  • may mother said i need to have protection when i go on a date. so she would always come along.

  • Oy vay.

  • WELLLLLLLLL, I guess I AM a little like this Jewish mother!!!

  • that was so funny!! it would be great if something like that actually existed!!!

  • This is awesome!!! I think this is going to be a new craze!

  • My Jewish mother isn't ANYTHING like that, but I wish she was. Hilarious!

  • Comment removed

  • Hilarious! I recognize myself. I drive my son crazy hahaha.

  • I'm glad I don't have a jewish mother.

  • You're missing out. Jewish Moms are great.

  • great job guys....this is WONDERFUL.

  • lol that was hilarious

  • I don't have kids of my own; but I'm a 'Jewish mother' to my husband!! lol lol

  • LOL NICE ONE! keep up the good work :)

  • Adorable!

  • This is SO effing great! I love it! This is so funny. I love the uses of extra time ...third one is the best.

  • Great I can really see my self!

  • Oy, I could plotz!! After 54 years, at an average of, oh, say, 3 times a day, "Have you thought about losing weight?", followed by, inevitably, "What do you want to eat?!?"...

  • Rofl, hilarious.

The first three questions are the things my Jewish grandmother ALWAYS asks my dad.

  • Uh Oh. I'm not wearing a sweater.

  • Oy Vey!

  • my mother wants to know who am stooping. and if she can get in the action. a regular Jewish mom.

  • i'm not jewish, but this was amazing. greater twitter parody.

  • Love this! Plenty of WASP "Jewish mothers" out there, too. "Why can't you be more like your sister?" "What do I know? I'm just your mother?"

  • Love this! Plenty of Protestant "Jewish mothers" out there, too!

  • Cute :D

    great for my jewish mother..

  • I love it. I'm sending this to my son!

  • My mom asks more like "Where are you", "who are you with" "when will you get home" "are there people walking around with you" "you aren't alone right?"

    sighhh jewish mothers.

  • I can so relate. Well done!

  • This is HYSTERICAL.

  • I wish this was for real. Good idea!

  • Congrats on cnn
