  • fucking brent

  • I can't stop listening to this. It's so beautiful. I have goosebumps again!

  • I had goosebumps from the first fucking note!

  • Most amazing version ever.....e v e r.

  • I used to listen to this non-stop back in the day.

    Favourite cover by them, ever.

  • Best. Version. Ever.

  • I love panic at the disco-3

  • I love how Brendon, Spencer and Ryan look so totally devoted to the music and they just look so epic

    and then there's Brent.

    x3

Anyways, I love this too much for words.

  • Two of my absolute favorite bands. <3 I will never not love this.

  • ughhh ive head the countin crows vesion but for some odd reeason i ove this version

  • Okay, I've been listening to Counting Crows all my life, and the first time I heard them cover this it was shit, but this time around I'm amazed. 4:27.

  • I first heard this in 2008. I still listen to it and it helped me in times of despair.

I love how perfect this is and how emotional it is. Oddly enough I find the original song unpleasant to listen to. I used to love these men but to this day when I hear this it makes me feel more real. There were times when I'd feel like the woman in this song.

  • Two of my favorite bands, combined. Amazing.

  • this song use to make me cry when i was little kid idk why

  • Maaaaan Spencer is amazing, He played those drums LIKE A BOSS in the breakdown

  • IS THAT BRENT?

    DAAAAYYUUUMM THIS IS OLD.

  • This song really works Spencer. I feel sorry for the Counting Crows' drummer....

  • this cover still gets me everytime! thanks to znoby for converting it to mp3!

  • i got chills

  • daaaaaaamn Spencer is going after it like a mad man. :)

  • Moved.

  • this is just perfect, everything about it

  • @RyanRoss4ever08 I think best band ever is pushing shit up hill a bit bro..

  • I remember I saw an interview with Brendon and he said he gets so nervous performing, i didn't believe it because well he's just so energentic on stage you would never think he's nervous.

  • If you knew, Ryan said a million times, they needed covers because using only their songs in AFYCSO would be too short for a concert.

Plus, hey, if a band has a cover, then that means they like that other band, right?

  • lol brent.

  • Just a little FYI...this is actually a cover of a cover. This version of the song was first pulled off (much better, IMO) by the band Punchline off the cd Dead and Dreaming: An Indie Tribute to the Counting Crows. If you think this is good, check that version out. It's incredible.

  • @CrashDavis0985 I've heard Counting Crows perform this version too, so they got it from Dead and Dreaming as well? I'm really just curious. It'd be interesting that they used a version someone else created of their song.

  • Brendon was so cute when he looked like this ♥ I just wished I had the chance to see them all together again (with Jon instead of Brent ofc) :(

  • sooo goood, I absolutely love his voice, almost as good as the original (:

  • Goosebumps x1000000 :$

  • CRY CRY CRY <3<3<333333333333333333333

  • Easily one of the top 3 covers of all time. His voice is like candy for my ears.

  • legitimately short of breath right now. i love this song so much and the fact that panic covered it makes it so much better.

  • At all the people who are calling The Counting Crows "The Casting Crowns" learn your music please. It sounds ignorant. I for one love the Counting Crows, and recently heard this cover, never heard a cover I liked until this one. And just because you don't like Panic doesn't mean you can deny the fact that Brendon can sing. It's obvious he can. All you little haters. You're either 12 and immature, or you're 30 and wish you could be him. Lol.

  • @katiexbrutal hey just so you know... you rock and i love your opinion in music. thanks for tellin the prople to back off

  • @Reniriver Thanks. (:

  • The slowdown about half way kinda blew my mind.

  • This gets me every time

  • they are so talented, especially the drummer <3

  • @Padrino13 you just sound stupid...actually in the REAL WORLD intensity and those kinds of things are what make people love the concert. emotion isnt shit if you cant see or feel it you dumb ass. and casting crowns is a beautiful band but idk why you would try to say one of these bands is better than the other. they are both easily some of the most creative and artistic song writing bands of our generation..you're one opinion on this huge site..meaning your comment was a waste of space...

  • @musicadict711

No one was talking about casting crowns. How did your fingers wonder to the n key on accident?

  • his voice actually fits this song amazingly well...

I came to this video expecting to be disappointed, but damn, this is actually really good.

  • @jrsharp70

Then you haven't seen the right performances. You don't have to start jamming out to be "intense". True intensity is in the emotion and Counting Crows TRUMPS Panic at the disco in that respect...well...in all respects actually.

  • don't liking brent because he is "ugly" is so fucking stupid and superficial. sure he wasn't the prettiest but i bet your no better looking

  • Today in creative writing class we were presenting songs we like and one of my more musical friends showed us this song. We were all mesmerized. 'Nuff said.

  • @ryuu304 you take creative writing at your school!! i take it at my school

  • @ryuu304 WHOA. Hi there classmate. But I thought people looked pretty bored while I was presenting. I almost cried during my presentation while it was playing. I think this song gets to people at a deeply emotional level.

  • Brendon and Ryan look really hot here

  • @girlygirl2000ful They all do. Ecept Brent.

  • @MissQuattrone yeah. brent is ugly and i dont like him

  • @girlygirl2000ful I don't like him either but not because he is ugly.

  • this band just killed the song..

  • I taped this concert two years ago, and I felt in love with this song, now I've finally found it! ♥

  • I threw up in my mouth hearing this shitty version of a perfect song

  • i really don't like this band but i love this song

  • Pure magic.

  • @XheyXXXmoonX go to topinweb.com, thats what i use and ive never gotten a virus.

  • @TheAdelie9497 thanx :D

  • It's not too bad, but they are going way too fast for me.

  • The best cover of Counting crows. I love the old Panic!. Bden, Ryan, Spencer and Brent. oh god. old times );

  • @XxRedParade28xX you can always download. just google 'Panic at the Disco Round Here mp3' thats how i got it.

  • @TheAdelie9497 which site did you use and does it have virus? :D

  • i totally wish they had this on itunes

  • Holy crap slow down.... This is too fast

  • I do give them props for using the live version that the crows do than just lift this directly from August and everything after.

  • Damn that was good.

  • Nice cover, but to bad the public probably don't know the real song, the real band, there pain, there fan-tas-tic live performances....

  • I think that they did an amazing job on this. You can see the emotion coming from Brendon while he's singing this. And Brendon's voice is just truly incredible. They didn't do a bad job on the song. A lot of bands wouldn't be able to do this song and sound good but Panic did. Of course the original is still extremely powerful and beautiful though.

  • hell yes counting crows.. i bet none of the fags at this show know this great song. not even that great of a cover...

  • It's so beautiful... and look at bby Ryan and Spencer! oh and Brent Whaleson! :D

  • this ruins the original song, daaamn fuck offf

  • @luckycarazas I am a HUMONGOUS fan of Counting Crows. These guys aren't half bad!

  • This is my all time favorite song.

They actually did a pretty good job on it. I mean, it still doesn't compare to Counting Crows, but it was better than most bands could have done.

  • lovely

  • is there a download like for this video?

  • This version of the song feels so phony.

  • I cry so hard when I listen to the version of this song. It's far too good.

    RIP PANIC!

  • i want a link to download this ... it makes me melt.... brendon makes me melt.... ahhhh god.... and he is so sweaty and amazing .... fuck.

  • this is one of my favourite of counting crows and when i first found this like forever ago i sobbed this song means so much to me and for brendon to sing it makes my life.

  • i think it's better than the original but that's just my opinion

  • Freakng awesome. nuff said

  • Words cannot express how much I love this.

  • Awful

  • Every time I watch this I cry. There's so much emotion in this song.

  • Same here. This must be my favourite thing to listen to, EVER.

  • I agree with ohmayhem to a point, just because it's sped up does not mean it isn't emotional. I love this version. To me, it still doesn't touch the original but is still very good. When Duritz speak parts of the song it's like a story and he draws you in, he then belts out parts to break your heart. Go to yahoo music and watch the version there, I promise you won't be able to fight away the tears.

  • So good

  • For the record, I love the original.

But when Duritz performs this live, he speaks it. It's just a monolouge.

Also, the up-tempo doesn't make it any less sensitive, if anything it makes it more emotional. I don't know if we're watching the same video, but these vocals are epic. And at least they're vocals; as opposed to talking through the whole thing.

  • Best cover of Panic! At The Disco ^^

    I love it.

  • dont forget the cover of slow motion by third eye blind. amazing cover.

  • Something about this song, whether it's Panic! or Counting Crows always makes me cry. I don't know, maybe it's the lyrics? First time I listened to it, I was at a friend's and burst into tears. It was kind of embarrassing... :/

  • @PATDleprachaunFBR i cry every time

  • @PATDleprachaunFBR alot of counting crows songs do tht to me!

  • I like some of the instrumental additions to the song but the vocals are not nearly as good as the vocals of counting crows.

  • Absolutely amazing.

  • @RyanRoss4ever08

Compared to the band they're covering (counting crows) Panic! is crap.

  • He uses his vibrato as a crutch. It doesn't display vocal maturity, talent or truthfulness just because you can utilize vibrato that easily.

  • @Padrino13 I'm sorry but you're an idiot if you think Brendon Urie can't sing or "uses his vibrato as a crutch"

  • @TooTallGrizzly

Sorry mate, I'm afraid you're incorrect. Just because you are a fan doesn't mean that what I said isn't true.

  • you suck.

    p!atd is great.

  • Comment removed

  • @TooTallGrizzly WTF! this was a VERY, VERY good cover so screw you.

  • @TooTallGrizzly there album is not "garbage". And actually, they are not a "Beatles rip off".

  • @RyanRoss4ever08 by Fall Out Boy

  • thug

  • Cette cover me fait pleurer a chaques fois...

Je sais pas pourquoi, mais Brendon met tellement d'émotion quant il chante, ça me tue..♥

J'aime sa voix pour le restant de ma vie je croit !!

  • WOW, Awesome...and I LOVE CC more than myself...I am impressed..run like the wind...

  • not bad but no one could ever sing this with the emotion of counting crows

  • love it.

  • well, it's okay. but no one could do this better than counting crows.

  • oh i almost forgot FUCK BRENT lol

  • Does anyone notice how they change the song around towards the end? around 3:00 is where they change it but still I thinks its great song all around both counting crows and panic! at the disco are two amazing bands

  • It's not so much their own change to the song as a cover of the part that Counting Crows added on the second disc of their live album Across a Wire - but they definitely put their own twist on that part and it is awesome.

  • Brent????????O_o

  • this is quite old, dear.

    amazing all the same.♥

  • I know, but i have like watch it a million times and first now i noticed brent ,, by the way do you have it cuz i asked so many people for this cover and no one will send it to me.....in mp3 please XD

  • hah, i wouldn't of noticed him either until i saw your comment.

    nah, i wish i did, it's beautifuul.♥

  • ok thanks anyway XD

  • i have respect for this band and they cover this song well but its not even close to as good as the original, the best cover panic at the disco has done is the weight by the band

  • I have had this on repeat for the past hour, reading ryden fanfics the whole time. It really makes me realize how great of a band they were. It makes me want to cry.

  • Oh my god. I love this so much!

  • Everytime i listen to this (which is every day) i for some reason get really emotional. Prolly because it's a beautiful cover and i'm really sad that Ryan & Jon aren't part of Panic! anymore. It's depressing, but at least Brendon and Spencer still kept it alive! Well more like half, since half the band is gone. I still love Panic all the same though.

  • Best cover of Panic (:

    Love the song,Love Panic <3

  • This is so beautiful.

  • does anyone have the mp4 or 3gp version of this that i can have please?

  • MP4, that's iPod video format right?

I have it, I can send it if you like.

  • ooh yes please umm should i pm you with my umm email address?

  • This is one of those performances that reminds me just why I love Brendon Urie so much. He's good at what he does. He's better than good, he's exceptional. He gets so lost in the music and he puts everything into it, you can just tell looking at him that he really loves doing what he does. He's got the best voice in the world, to me anyway. I know Panic! Will be different without Ryan and Jon, but I know Brendon will keep doing what he does and be as amazing as he ever was.

    I still love Ryan

  • absolutly agree with every single word.

  • haha thankyou :) I like to rant about how much those guys mean to me. Because like, they're just amazing and I know I'm rambling but they really mean a lot to me

  • i still love them all, and respect their choices as musicians. as much as i loved pretty odd, im glad that brendon and spencer are leaning back to their old genre in music.

  • Really? I don't think its too great of a cover. I love Panic! At the disco (and Panic at the Disco for that matter) but this cover is too loud too heavy and too fast. Its supposed to be more reflective. It works better as a slow balled. Adam sings it in a much softer and richer way.

Or it could be that i just think Adam is a better singer. Again I do like Panic! at the Disco.

  • i could not agree more

  • when jon would be in it, it would be perfekt.

  • where can i download a good version of this song?

  • oh my goodness.

they were so young when they did this cover... Brent was still in the band.

I love this cover out of all of the others (right next to Slow Motion and Killer Queen).

  • wow brendons so sweaty yet oh-so-sexy i love it when ryro joins in i just love this song on a whole

  • im on my knees

    it makes me cry

    incredible

    ....

  • i love this song so much the cover is just incredible i love it love it love it. this has to be the best cover EVER! fave bit oooooh sleepin children better run like the wind out of the lightning dream mammas lil baby better get her self in out of the lightning

  • The bridge is so improved. I hate Counting Crow's bridge...The Himalayans did it well, though.

  • Bendon's voice is sooo good for this song. I love the "so you think that you were dreaming' part. beauitful song

  • lol Bendon. Sorry, that was immature

  • haha that's okay X)

  • i know this cover so long ...

and it's still my favorite song <3

i always start to cry by hearing this song <3

    it's so beautiful <3

brendon urie is the best singer and panic at the disco the best band ...

  • Anyone know where I can download this cause all the versions on Limewire suck balls

  • if you send me your email i can send it to you?

  • Oh thanks so much but I actually found a good link for it. Thanks though!

  • i still love this cover after 2 years

  • im watching a documentary about them right now, they dont like the fact they appeal to tweenies all over america. i bet 80% of the little kids at this show dont even know what this beautiful song even is.. and im withdrawing my opinion of a few years ago, coming from someone who has seen counting crows live and LOVES them.

  • What documentary are you watching?

  • I really like Panic, but I'm not sure about this cover - some songs are just un-coverable i guess. As a HUGE Crows fan I consider the original version untouchable! :-)

  • I've never been a fan of Panic, but, ssuwc, off the Himalayans version, the ORIGIONAL version of 'Round Here' , WAS covered by Adam Duritz's second band, Counting Crows. It's an "uncoveverable" song, agreed, unless it's covered by the same guy!!!!! lol!! But still, gotta give credit, It was a good job by Panic! to show respect to their roots as musicians and they did alright on the somg!

  • Hahah wow, I never knew! So were 'Himalayans' Duritz's previous band or something? I guess I'm not as 'huge' a fan as I thought! :-)

  • Yeah, peanutismint, the crows came around, what 1994? The Himalayans, Duritz's first band, were 1990ish-1993. And just for a little fun fact, "Mr. Jones" was Adams good freind and bandmates from Himalayns :) I think he was either the guitarist or bass player. And Im dying for Aug 18, I just found out about Crows touring with Michael Franti and Spearhead...gonna see them in Miami, FL!!! can't wait!!

  • Cool! Hahah yeah when I saw them the other day, Adam intro'd 'Mr Jones' by saying 'So, I used to be in this band with this guy, and this song is about him'. I listened to the Himalayas version of 'Round Here' too - now I see where the 'Storytellers' version came from! :-)

  • they did a fantastic job covering this.

i grew up listening to August & everything

after, and counting crows so it was amazing

to see these guys perform it live.

    i love them.

  • I wish they would just record this.

  • i agree...

they'd have to get permission from Counting Crows though.

i dont think they would ever re-record anyone else's work either though.

i think they just love to cover it & play for

    fans to hear.
