You can't beat Classics like Puppet Master. -And yes, Blade was my favourite as a kid. Scared me and made me smile every time.

Well, they never said it COULDN'T, and while I'm just revisiting these after like 15 years, what I could remember they haven't broke canon. In the first film the dude was brought back (though he didn't say how) and one may presume it was the formula, though the original puppet master seemed to only use a spell... Dunno, but once someone dies, how different is the body from a puppet really?

This film was way too similar to the first, and the first one wasn't even that great a movie. The puppets are amazing, but the pace of the film was too slow for me. But the films seemed to improve as they went along. The series was all but ruined after the Sci-Fi Channel bought the rights to do the crossover with the Demonic Toys. That sounds good on paper, I must say, but the results were well below par. Par for the course, really.
