According to his Wikipedia page, he's born in London, raised in South Africa, yet he sounds really Australian to me. Is that what results from that particular combination of linguistic influences, or am I just another dead-eared American (understanding these are not mutually exclusive). @dantean I thought Australian too but the speech is more clipped and the vowels have that SA tinge to them now that you mention it. Pretty subtle though. Great video.

@dantean yep, u got it wrong. all 3 accents are similar because south african and australian accents both derived largey from the UK accents. you are just not familar with the differences between the 3.

@KeePractising Too bad more people don't choose to learn from it. We, the people, should work harder to ensure we always have such access to information, but even less censored. But, though YT is censored, it sure beats mainstream media.
