@RagingBerserkr with dx9 i stayed above 80fps except in the harder spots, but never dropping below 30 with my specs. It could be a lot different now though. I haven't played for probably a little under a year.

i went back to AoC after leaving WoW again, I just play casually and wanted to see what it was like. I always liked AoC, who cares if the population isn't high (no idea what the numbers are) but if more people join the more we support this well crafted game...WoW's days are numbered well Blizzard themselves said it...2 more expacs left and thats it

@MattRomeroMusic Yeah, who knows where WoW will go. It's always said that the next mmo will be the end of WoW, but it isn't. But, I also believe one day something will rock the mmo world, and we'll all hear about it! Have fun w/ AoC, it's a fun game!

Hi mate how is the card working in Age of Conan? :D cuz I'm thinking about buying the XFX HD4890 1GB and the AMD Phenom2 X4 965 3,4Ghz and 4 gb ram :) hope it will run good on Age of Conan. btw which one is the best the GTX 260 or the 4890? :)

1. The card works great w/ AoC. DX10 w/ everything maxxed out in 1920x1080 (1080p) things finally start slowing down (dropping below 30fps). But not using the (beta) DX10, and just saying w/ DX9, things run beautifully (usually above 50fps unless loading city gfx and things).

2. Your configuration looks very suitable for AoC. That gfx card will power through it and the high clock on the processor will definitely help too. I think you'll get comparable to my results...

3. I'm not sure which is the best... they're both really close, I think the 260 is the most comparable NVidia model to the radeon 4890hd. At Tom's Hardware benchmarks, the 4890's performing a little better on the 3dmark06 test... Sorry I can't give you a fully confident answer.

@Worzx hey man, should be really very close to what i'm getting - 30ish in big towns w/ many entities, and 80+ in less power-hungry terrain. I'm also running in a pretty high resolution - 1920x1080, so if your resolution is smaller than that on your monitor, you'll get better frames! Good luck.

ay i was thinking of getting this game but i cbf paying every month and i dont tink there are private servers + this game is kinda hold

yeah, it's not terribly old, came out may, 08? I think.. expansion coming out, may have to look into it.
