He taught his disciples to preach in Matthew 10. Matthew 10:14 tells them to go house to house. Matthew 24:14 says this good news of the kingdomwill be preached... before the end comes.

I just got baptized September 25th this year i am 13 years old and i am grateful my parents helped me thru the way. of course Jehova especially. :)

Be careful watching the videos posted, the governing body warns us about apostates and this kind of stuff, don't let Satan mislead you. I've already been dealing with people like this for a few months now, it got to me in the beginning, started giving me doubts, but now I'm full on positive that we're teaching the truth! We definitely have to becareful as satan is roaming about like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour, and sadly many people get devoured because they look away from the scriptures and look to man for the answers, whether it be a deacon, elder, pastor, priest, etc.
We need to be sure that our belief comes directly from the source, the word of God. If our beliefs cannot be backed up via scripture, or we cannot find what we're taught in scripture, we should toss it aside.
If one knows the scriptures, then you don't have to worry about watching videos because you know that they won't lead you astray. I've found that biblical discussions with those of other faiths have helped me delve deeper into the scriptures as I seek to share with them why I believe the way I do, and in discussing with them what they believe.
Don't be discouraged to do this, or to check out another point of view. Remember in a debate, there are two sides to every story...
and to debate your side effectively, you need to know what others believe and why they believe it. Not just by hearing what your side has to say about the other side, but about what they themselves personally believe and way. You need to go to them, otherwise you may not receive the whole truth about what someone believes.
The bible doesn't prohibit reading and listening to what other people have to say, rather it just says to test the spirits, and search the scriptures to make sure...

We can't expect to grow spiritually if we close our minds to possibilities and scenarios that don't necessarily fit our ritualistic values. But our willingness to discuss different points of view is our way of saying, "God I know you aren't confined to one thing, and that someone else may understand something about you that I don't.
I actually attended a JW convention this summer and I was amazed at how happy and joyful the crow of people actually were there. Funny thing is, when I went there.. I was expecting more of what these pictures depict(oppression, unhappiness, hardship etc.)
But something tells me, that these people here were most likely punished for wrongful acts than anything else. Which tbh, I happen to be in complete agreement with.
Hello, have any of you heard or read that the second coming of Christ and Jugdement Day will take place on May 21, 2011; and the end of this world and the entire physical universe will take place on October 21, 2011? The great tribulation period(which I think they mean a spiritual war) begun in the year 1988 and will end next year in 2011?
This is beautiful! It brought a tear to my eye. I wish all JWs could see this! I never was a JW but was married to one. I felt oppressed and unhappy bc he used the same tactics on me that the organization uses on them. Even though we are now divorced, I still pray that the Lord will one day open the hearts of him and his family. Jesus is AMAZING! He never left me throughout the entire time I was struggling in my short lived marriage.

Hello, Ferles 2009, I asked myself that same question when I saw these types of videos. So, I researched and I found (Mat. 10:22) When you get a chance take a look at that verse and then it became clear. We tend to try discredit that which seems to be unobtainable. Take a look at Luke 9:23 and most importantly Mat 28:19-20. thanx to these negative comments about a single group got me acting like a private eye. lol I found these are the only people actually living the code of christ. :-)
So many people say that they know Jesus and Love Jesus, but do they really? Being that we are imperfect, Do we know his commandments? Do we really try to live by them? The JWs are not perfect and haven't come out of babylon far enough in my opinion. They worship on Sunday whereas the Bible says the Sabbath is on Saturday. They do not observe all of the festivals of God, only Passover and although abstaining from blood (biblical command), they eat pork which is an abomination in God's sight.
when Jesus came to the earth he abolished the mosaic covenant which included the sabbath, the only two responsibilities he left us with was to "make disciples of people all the nations" and to do the memorial of Jesus' sacrificed life, saying "to do this in remembrance of me". we feel the issue of eating pork as a matter of conscience. we leave matters like this between the person in question and Jehovah. however the pork does have to be thoroughly bled. erm... what other festivals? :)
Actually there are 1050 New Testament Commands. In the Old Testament there are 613. Jesus did not abolish the Laws of the old covenant "Do not think I have come to abolish" (Matthew 5:17-19). When Jesus returns, the Old Covenant Laws are coming back: Note Zechariah 14: 16 - everyone Jewish or Gentile will worship God at the Feast of Tabernacles. The Festivals are listed in Leviticus 23.
Jesus did not come to the earth to abolish a Law which God gave but came to pay the sacrifice for sin. If there is no law there is no sin! (Romans 5:13 - SIN IS NOT IMPUTED WHEN THERE IS NO LAW."). We live by law everyday, we obey man's law and if we do not we go to jail or are punished --the punishment we get doesn't remove the law. God's law never ended at the cross, that is one of Satan's lies to get people into hell by making them live a lawless life.

I'm glad U asked that question. U can find it in the NWT's translation of John 1:1 where they call Jesus "a God". Therefore, the Watchtower Society is proclaming there are TWO Gods..BIG GOD & Little GOD (or God, Jr. = Jesus). AND YES, THAT GOES AGAINST SCRIPTURE! ISAIAH 43:10-11.

AT and Sd tell us the Word was divine. The interlinear rendering of ED is a god was the Word. NW reads the Word was a god; NTIV uses the same wording.

Christ made anything that was made...there wasn't one single thing that was made without him...these statements would include himself.
Even if God created him, and Jesus created all other things as you say, it still mean God lied when he said that he created heaven and earth by himself.

Jehovah is God's name. Check dictionaries, encyclopedias, bibles (at Exodus 6:3, Isaiah 42:8, and Isaiah 54:5). Jehovah's Witnesses serve Christ Jesus our Lord. Matthew 4:17 Jesus started preaching. He taught his disciples to preach in Matthew 10. Matthew 10:14 tells them to go house to house. Matthew 24:14 says this good news of the kingdomwill be preached... before the end comes.
Jesus taught his disciples to make more disciples at Matthew 28:19,20,"Go therefore and make disciples..."

We definitely have to becareful as satan is roaming about like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour, and sadly many people get devoured because they look away from the scriptures and look to man for the answers, whether it be a deacon, elder, pastor, priest, etc.
We need to be sure that our belief comes directly from the source, the word of God. If our beliefs cannot be backed up via scripture, or we cannot find what we're taught in scripture, we should toss it aside.

If one knows the scriptures, then you don't have to worry about watching videos because you know that they won't lead you astray. I've found that biblical discussions with those of other faiths have helped me delve deeper into the scriptures as I seek to share with them why I believe the way I do, and in discussing with them what they believe.
Don't be discouraged to do this, or to check out another point of view. Remember in a debate, there are two sides to every story...

and to debate your side effectively, you need to know what others believe and why they believe it. Not just by hearing what your side has to say about the other side, but about what they themselves personally believe and way. You need to go to them, otherwise you may not receive the whole truth about what someone believes.
The bible doesn't prohibit reading and listening to what other people have to say, rather it just says to test the spirits, and search the scriptures to make sure...

I actually attended a JW convention this summer and I was amazed at how happy and joyful the crow of people actually were there. Funny thing is, when I went there.. I was expecting more of what these pictures depict(oppression, unhappiness, hardship etc.)
But something tells me, that these people here were most likely punished for wrongful acts than anything else. Which tbh, I happen to be in complete agreement with.

This is beautiful! It brought a tear to my eye. I wish all JWs could see this! I never was a JW but was married to one. I felt oppressed and unhappy bc he used the same tactics on me that the organization uses on them. Even though we are now divorced, I still pray that the Lord will one day open the hearts of him and his family. Jesus is AMAZING! He never left me throughout the entire time I was struggling in my short lived marriage.

I must say that I really like this video. I even saw Joan Centnar who was married to the late Bill centnar. These people were hard core witnesses. Joan knew Fred Frantz and other members at Bethel. Now you should hear what she had to say about those people. On this vid she's at 3:56, "fear & uncertainty" They got out just in time before Bill passed, now he's with the Lord.

Hello, Ferles 2009, I asked myself that same question when I saw these types of videos. So, I researched and I found (Mat. 10:22) When you get a chance take a look at that verse and then it became clear. We tend to try discredit that which seems to be unobtainable. Take a look at Luke 9:23 and most importantly Mat 28:19-20. thanx to these negative comments about a single group got me acting like a private eye. lol I found these are the only people actually living the code of christ. :-)

It's amazing how some hardcore JW's are condeming their brothers and sisters who are now happy and free. Is it evil to be a happy, well adjusted person? Surely Jehovah must be displeased with anyone enjoying life. Must be the work of the devil, ... yada yada yada, - come on -give these people a break. The JWs are not perfect and haven't come out of babylon far enough in my opinion. They worship on Sunday whereas the Bible says the Sabbath is on Saturday. They do not observe all of the festivals of God, only Passover and although abstaining from blood (biblical command), they eat pork which is an abomination in God's sight.

when Jesus came to the earth he abolished the mosaic covenant which included the sabbath, the only two responsibilities he left us with was to "make disciples of people all the nations" and to do the memorial of Jesus' sacrificed life, saying "to do this in remembrance of me". we feel the issue of eating pork as a matter of conscience. we leave matters like this between the person in question and Jehovah. however the pork does have to be thoroughly bled. erm... what other festivals? :)

Actually there are 1050 New Testament Commands. In the Old Testament there are 613. Jesus did not abolish the Laws of the old covenant "Do not think I have come to abolish" (Matthew 5:17-19). When Jesus returns, the Old Covenant Laws are coming back: Note Zechariah 14: 16 - everyone Jewish or Gentile will worship God at the Feast of Tabernacles. The Festivals are listed in Leviticus 23.

Jesus did not come to the earth to abolish a Law which God gave but came to pay the sacrifice for sin. If there is no law there is no sin! (Romans 5:13 - SIN IS NOT IMPUTED WHEN THERE IS NO LAW."). We live by law everyday, we obey man's law and if we do not we go to jail or are punished --the punishment we get doesn't remove the law. God's law never ended at the cross, that is one of Satan's lies to get people into hell by making them live a lawless life.

if any here had studied history, really studied. Christianity was an easy path, as old jewish law and paganism too required the blood sacrifices of animals. A book and belief was much simplier. but it lacked pagentry. Now science has nothing to buy into with ritual or even afterlife which humans long for.....BUT the atheists and scientific types fight amongst themselves for tenure and what papers get read. I'm glad U asked that question. U can find it in the NWT's translation of John 1:1 where they call Jesus "a God". Therefore, the Watchtower Society is proclaming there are TWO Gods..BIG GOD & Little GOD (or God, Jr. = Jesus). AND YES, THAT GOES AGAINST SCRIPTURE! ISAIAH 43:10-11.

Yes, I already know all the scrips you provided. But you misunderstand them and the nature of God. God is a Triune God...meaning he has 3 different forms or persons within his nature. And by you quoting all those scrips & still NOT believing JESUS IS GOD show that you need to dig deeper into what the BIBLE teaches.
For example, the Watchtower will tell U that JESUS is "a god", but then they say He is Michael the Archangel when there are NO scrips that prove that.Can't be both!

John 1:1, RS: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God [also KJ, JB, Dy, Kx, NAB]. NE reads what God was, the Word was. Mo says the Logos was divine. AT and Sd tell us the Word was divine. The interlinear rendering of ED is a god was the Word. NW reads the Word was a god; NTIV uses the same wording.

Michael is the one that cast the devil out of heaven, the one that aided Daniels friends in the fiery furnace, that assisted Gabriel, the most powerful angel, after Lucifers fall, Michael is the one that carry out the judgement, casting the devil into the bottomless pit and so on. Jake: The word Lord, in the new testament is Kyrios, this you know, now Kyrios is what the JW translated Jehovah as, this you know also. So to state that Christ is Lord, is to say Christ is Kyrios, wich is to say Christ is Jehovah. If you look at Mt 28:20 I think it is, the comission to baptize in the name, singular of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, and the name is YHWH, so, there is YHWH the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Believe the Scriptures, yes bow your knees before Christ.

Isa 44:24 Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I [am] the LORD that maketh all [things]; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself;
The Lord ALONE created all things...and by himself he spread the earth.

So what exactly are objectors to "other" arguing for as the meaning of the phrase "all things"?That Christ created himself (v. I6)? That Christ is before God and that God was made to exist by means of Christ (v.17)? That Christ, too needs to be reconciled to God? 'Other' does not mean 'all'..nor is the word greek word for 'Other' used in Colossians. The word used is "pas", it means "whole", "everything".
Christ made anything that was made...there wasn't one single thing that was made without him...these statements would include himself.
Even if God created him, and Jesus created all other things as you say, it still mean God lied when he said that he created heaven and earth by himself.

At least no other ones that I've seen have it. But regardless, the bible tells me God made the worlds by himself..and that the word who is God was made flesh and dwelt amongst us..he who created the world was in the world and the world knew him not.
The very Lord of the Sabbath came to earth..the one who created the Sabbath...Jesus is the creator!
