hi, i dont understand step-step, if i download a file movies like avi and mkv, what the next step i want to burner into dvd cd, and the file avi become vob ? how to make that ??
hi dont use dvd43 because it craps up the dvd rip the other software is realy good high quilty good software for burniing video to dvd disks dvd flick
@stuemail567 Interesting, I use DVD43 because without it I can't rip DVD's (their encoded with DRM that DVD43 bypasses), but to each his own. I'm glad I could help!
I don't really know anything about Magic DVD Ripper (there's possibly hundreds of rippers), but I really would not pay the $35 they're asking for, especially when there's free ways of doing it. I'd also beat that all that program is is a frontend for open source libraries like ffmpeg and mplayer.

You must join the .vob files, together, first.
Then use a program to convert .MPEG-2 file into something more suitable, in your case .mkv or .avi .

Personally, i use CDBurnerXP, which contrary to its title works just fine on Vista/Windows 7.
