Its sounds mighty fine just the way you did it!
That sounded like the studio version to me, completely awesome. You should think about doing some tutorials, just a thought....but don't let the 6 strings rest, you're too good.

Seriously you know nothing about guitar if you don't think the Ice Cream Man solo is absolutely mind blowing. Not only is it pure EVH at his best, its got feel,groove,timing, phrasing and most of all it fits perfectly in the context of the song. Everyone raves about eruption but there are far more impressive things on the early VH albums. EVH was such a breath of fresh air back then. Sure every 80s guitarist copped his licks but NEVER his feel and timing.

Let's see...Style is on Chrunch 2, Gain is at 2 o'clock, tone is at 3 o'clock, master vol is at 1 o'clock (.5 watt setting), Effect is Chorus + Delay, and the Edit knob is at just past 12 o'clock -- with the tap pace not that quick -- may be 2 a second. Hope that helps.
not bad at all... so what if you use two hands on the beginning... sounds just the same... thats a killer reach anyways and if your hands arnt able to COMFORTABLEY stretch that far, you'll hurt yourself forcing it to happen,,,anyways, keep rocken man, sounded sweet !
I agree, my fav solo too! I cheat too, but it sounds better and is a lot easier, so screw it. nice job, timimg is a bit off, but that's normal, if you're not playing to a track
