In all seriousness, I believe this is a form of conceptual art, which is hilarious. There is also a guy who documented Stray Shopping Carts and made a pseudoscience of it, cataloging them and categorizing them into a book and website. (Look up The Stray Shopping Cart Project) There's also "The Museum of Jurassic Technology", which makes exhibits of unreal and impossible technology and sciences.
