@blue9549 No, I and many others like me are not discriminating against a whole religious group. We condemn the out-dated, immoral, anti-human and superstitious doctrine of religions. The Koran actually states that a woman is NOT of the same worth as a man amongst other things of that nature, so go away and read your book again. Islam might have been progressive for women in the 7th century but it certainly isn't now and its far from perfect. And yes, we should judge a religion AND its followers.

Why can't people just listen to music without digging up old skeltons out of someone's closet. It isn't 1989 anymore. The man has changed and is back making great music again for people to enjoy. There is nothing condemning, violent or evil in these new songs. People make mistakes & some forgive and others hold on to hate & never forgive. Time to move on. Are you still hung up on what Lennon said about Jesus in 1965? What a waste of energy.

Get over it! We all know in the past he was very hardline & those comments he made were in bad taste, he admited it. As for Rushdie, he never said the man should die, he just said the penalty for what he had done was death for that is what the Qur'an says. The Bible says the penalty for blasphemy is death too. Rushdie didn't deserve the treatment, but it was bad karma to write a trashy book putting down the Muslims' prophet and karma came back to him.

@yusuf1608 Maybe you should learn to use punctuation marks :). If you don't like the contents of a book, then don't read it. No book alone has the power to murder the reader, therefore, murdering the author of any book for any reason can never be a proportional reciprocation for the readers reaction to said book. Anyone who says otherwise is a vile tyrant. Yusuf is on tape saying that Salmon should be murdered for writing The Satanic Verses. Why would you defend such a terrible man?
