Let's just clear a few things up,

A. That's dry ice, a solid form of CO2 or Carbon Dioxide. NOT to be mistaken as Carbon Monoxide.

B. It'll only kill you if you're dumb enough to hold your head in the outgas from it (and even then it's only suffocation)

C. Yes it will give you severe frostbite when you touch it without protection.
