@cexr1er I love how people talk about B.O.B. and his style of music when artists with originality like Kanye, Lupe Fiasco, Black Thought, Pharrel, and Kid Cudi (B.O.B. included) have helped shape the hip hop genre. People get too caught up into what's "catchy" instead of listening to good music. Also people let Society (the radio for instance) tell them who is good and what they should listen to. His style will help preserve hip hop. F.Y.I. one person can't mess up a whole genre of music

To know about the origins of hip hop in this culture is to see that there are at the very least two worlds in America. One of the well-to-do and the struggling.
The music arises from a generation that feels with some justice that they have been betrayed by those who came before them. That they are at best tolerated in schools, feared on the streets, and almost inevitably destined for the hell holes of prison. They grew up hungry, hated and unloved.
