Shit I totally remember this game. My little brother had it. TM1 and TM2 were the first games I played in the series. Then eventually I played TM 3 and 4 including Black...Hated all three of those.

@mas8705 Because calypso's powers are only able to twist around the wish , she could ask to be human again but it would have to be twisted around in another way, like in the one monstertruck one, they wished to be able to fly but jumped off a building and Calypso pulled plane tickets out of his pocket but they already fell to their deaths.

@DarnedNut Perhaps, but I was always under the impression that Calypso went ahead to twist around wishes just to screw with people... After all, remember Axel wishing for Pizza? Calypso gave him pizza with no catches (outside of not giving Axel Peace like he wanted)... Not to mention in Head on, Mortimer (driver of Shadow) wanted to go back to sleep, and Calypso did just that, with a toy bear a bedtime story and again no catches...

Crista, being his daughter (obviously) might have been well aware that she can ressurect herself through her wish or not explode at all, but she decided not to.

She might of been either programmed or decided that Calypso and herself should remain dead as intended (accident or not) and the only thing she wanted is one last hug from her father before ending it all.

Calypso decided to remain silent and took his fate as a man to embrace his daugters "last wish".
